This hotel is located in the central Salamanca district (2.5 km from the centre), very close to the main museums, theatres, tourist attractions and the best shops in Madrid.     Clean, friendly and fun hotel

    Nice room with comfortable bed (with loads of pillows), functioning aircon, safe and a table to work at. Location suited my needs well.Enjoyed the different themed rooms and would have loved to check in more of them 😊Breakfast was available for purchase but I did not buy it.

    Rooms are well-sized (actually I would say large for the price) and amenities decent with a small mini-bar, wardrobe area and room safe. Location is good close to the upscale ‘barrio Salamanca’ with lots of shopping and dining options. We didn’t eat at the hotel except for breakfast which was OK but didn’t have a great selection and the few hot options (mushrooms, scrambled eggs, bacon) had mostly run out by 0945 and the only staff member I could see on duty was unable to tell me when more hot food would be available. One thing to point out was the WiFi (at least in our room) was really bad and disappointing - as tourists with limited data roaming it’s useful to have decent WiFi to research activities etc.

    Charming Hotel in Great Neighborhood - Excellent in All Aspects

    This hotel is a delightful find! Charming in every detail. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, short walk to metro and on a major bus route. Safe neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants.     Late booking for unforeseen trip to Madrid and I was pleasantly surprised. The location worked out perfectly, the rooms were agreeable experience and, importantly well cared for and replenished daily.     Nice but needs a bit of attention

    I liked the concept of the hotel and rooms. The beds were nice and rooms comfortable - all with a specific film-themed deco. The downsides I found were:- the rooms were not very sound proof and you could also hear this constant humming sound from the electric board ;- there were a few hairs here and there in the bathroom and when I’d get rid of them, next cleaning round there were some more;- breakfast is average- there is a strong smell of toilet in the staircase and you can smell they tried to cover it up (which is fully understandable)Other than that staff was nice, lunch was vey cheap and decent and the deco fairly cool carlos bosch, Dueño at Ddc Dormirdcine Madrid, responded to this review Thank you Jaxo, sorry for the mistakes, will pay attention to them.Cheers
