Brilliant location, good hotel.

Excellent location. The metro is only a short walk away with routes to most of the places of interest. Room was small and basic but clean. Easy to check in and out. A small fridge in the room big enough to keep water and drinks cold. The only downside was that the window opened onto an enclosed area that at least one other room's window opened onto, therefore unable to leave the window open throughout the night. However, there was air conditioning if needed.

This was a very nice little hotel right in the middle of everything!!! The hotel very very clean, the beds were super comfortable and the rooms were spacious!! I would definitely stay here again. The next best thing was the location!!! Metro was right there, tons of restaurants and shopping right outside of the door!! Great place to stay.

This hotel was a great find. Nothing extravagant but perfect for us. Location was great, rooms clean, bathroom large. When we checked in the receptionist was very very helpful. She told us we didn't want a room with the balcony as this was the Independence Day celebration. The streets were full of celebrating and music all night. We were early for check in and she quickly found another room that would be more quiet. She then gave us a lot of ideas of what to do and how to find the train back to the main train station. She went over and above. When we returned later another staff member was there and he was just as helpful! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Room was quite, air conditioned, roomy and a 2 minute walk to the train. I would stay here again. Thank you so much for the hospitality

A simple fuss free hotel at the heart of Madrid for an unmatchable price, the rooms are great & clean with a good shower, right below the hotel is the Sol metro station and a short walk away is the Gran Via shopping street and attractions such as Plaza Mayor. Good hotel with a hidden lounge area. Receptionist was helpful too!

I booked the “standard double”. It did have ac, but may have to ask front desk to activate it in your room (April 8th). The coffee machine in the 24/7 lounge is now 1.20€ per cup. (Starbucks is next door).There is also a hot water kettle there & plastic cups in a cabinet below to the right. Also a microwave! There is a cold drink vending machine, but no longer an ice machine or breakfast option as in the past. It’s still a great place to freely heat up some food at night & water for coffee or tea anytime! The nice young man checking us in from the Philippines had a cork screw for wine if needed. On a pedestrian street with grocery & food 24/7 in 2 min walk. Can’t beat the price/location!
