    Basic facilities but ideal hotel. The location makes up for it as perfectly situated. A short walk from the metro, which was ideal for getting out and about.The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was a good size for three people. Beds were comfortable, bathroom sufficient.The room was clean, with a reasonably priced minibar, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the aircon very handy, keeping the place nice and cool. Everything you need for decent cost.Overall, a great spot to stay if you’re visiting the city!

    The hotel is on the main road itself, reception is on first floor. The list goes until reception and then there is a different lift to access the rooms and floors. You will have to carry your luggage a few steps up until reception and then change the lift to reach your room. The room had a view of Royal Palace somewhat. Royal Palace of Madrid is at a walkable distance from hotel. There are many good restaurants just below the hotel. Location is superb and few souvenir shops (reasonably priced) just below the hotels. Rooms are ok but old. The kitchen area was pretty tiny just for namesake. All together its a good stay location wise.

    Really nice hotel! The location is perfect—just a few minutes' walk from the metro, which made getting around super easy.The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was a good size for three people. The beds were comfy, though I would’ve preferred one proper double bed instead of two singles pushed together—but not a big deal.The room was clean, had a minibar, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the A/C kept the place nice and cool. Basically, everything we needed was there.Overall, a great spot to stay if you’re visiting the city!

    Stayed 5 nights at this lovely property. The location is excellent as a 2 min walk from Plaza de Espana which made easy access to and from the airport or train stations. Alvera and Jose which worked the front desk were outstanding and deserve recognition. I was made to feel special. Alvera made sure I had a suitable room as the first room I was assigned had an issue with the A/C.My room faced Gran Via but yet was very quiet with double paned windows. Old furnishings but clean and well appointed. Bed was comfy with good linens. Bathroom was spacious with a tub/shower combo, toilet and bidet. Shampoo and bath gel along with hand sanitizer was provided. The little kitchenette was great to have. There was one english channel CNN to catch up with the news.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would stay again.

    The Espahotel near plaza de Espana on the Central Road of Gran Via offers a great location to discover Madrid. The rooms are big and good and ours had a kitchen. A taxi to the airport is easily arranged. The Gran Via is quite crowed but at night the hotel rooms are quiet. The prices are pretty valuable...
