  I stayed at the Exe Norte five different times while visiting my company’s headquarters. The hotel is run efficiently with a pleasant, multilingual, and helpful staff. It is always clean, and the breakfast has a broad variety of fresh and prepared items (including gluten free) to please most people. The beds are firm vs. soft. Rooms have enough space to do work or just relax. I would not choose this as a leisure traveler as the hotel is on a highway, and a bus ride or long walk away from the metro. It takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get into the tourist areas of the city. As a business traveler who stays 1-2 weeks at a time, I am satisfied, but there are a few things that would make it better. The internet is inconsistent at best- this has not changed in three years! Don’t count on it for conference calls. Internet works right near the front desk, but by the time you walk back to your room it will drop. All of my work colleagues have the same problem, and the staff knows this. You can ask them for both the guest and the staff wifi, but it doesn’t help. The internet is the number one thing Exe needs to fix, as it is primarily a business hotel and internet is a basic necessity that just needs to work. There are very few restaurants (Honest Greens, Burger King, Popeyes, VIPS) within 1 mile to walk, so eating at the hotel or buying groceries are really your only choice. Having just one rotating or different food item every day for breakfast would be very appreciated. The lunch / dinner menu is more gourmet / fancy than comfort food, which is often what I seek when far from home or my stomach is upset. It would be great to have a very basic soup or simple salad as options. Allowing guests to eat their own food in the garden outside would also make it easier to stay here for more than 2 days.

  Getting much much better here!

  Much better than before. I don’t know if this is because there are finally some guys at the reception because there was a time when all women were like “no, not possible, thank you, good night” (and I am a female). Today there was a guy who actually bothered to help me with some basic 1 min thing (that any female could do have done as well but chose not to in the past). Appreciation to the hotel to finally hire some gentlemen and not ignorant and too proud women (again - from me being a woman)

  Poor services in a 4 stars...

  We have been there 3 days as a couple. We have got a room on the 5th floor very noisy because the isolation of the hotel is very week and we heard everything from the highway. Well we were upgraded to room with bath on the 1st floor but unfortunately the windows could not close properly because they were broken and damaged. We asked the reception to send someone to repair the windows because its very cold as the cold air comes in from outside.. no one cames because the maintenance does not work in the weekend time they said...The bathroom was not clean 100% and after the daily cleaning we did not receive 2 bottles of water as it should be normal.The service from the lounge bar is very poor and the bartender did not want to serve my husband saying the bar is closed however she served one of her friend and after my husband saw this, he received his beer as well...Very bad experiences in a 4 stars hotel.....we left with a big disappointment

  Very good location for the airport. Room spacious and clean. Helpful staff at the desk, especially Hamza. Nice foyer area. Only minor complaint was that room key stopped working and had to get it reactivated.

  Staffs: 5*No matter staffs of front desk and restaurant, all were helpful and attentive, especially the male staff (with brown color skin) served at the restaurant (breakfast), he remembered me usually has hot water for the tea, he brought one for me next day when i sit down. Besides, i needed hard copies for my PCR test result for boarding, the front desk staff was helpful to print it out for me!Breakfast: 4.5*Various choice and refilled always, ham, sausage, eggs, breads, cakes, cold cut, cheese, juices, fruits...etc, would be 5* if changed a bit for everyday. Because i stayed here for 4 nights, 99% foods were the sameRoom: 4.5*I stayed for 4 nights but with 2 different rooms (535 and 534)!Room were spacious and cleanliness. Maybe under epidemic, no once time toothbrush and toothpaste provided, but still provided shampoo and body wash.Please be reminded that the room face to the main road/highway will be a little bit noisy if opened the window (535), but u wont hear anything if closed the window!Room 534 faced to inner road, so, still quiet even opened the window.Location: 3.5*Because the hotel locates near to the airport, just 12 mins to T4, and there is private parking too, if not first time to visit Madrid , i definitely recommend this hotel and i must return back for sure!
