    Good hotel located in the Moncloa area. Fast check-in at reception and online check-out. I liked the equipment, cleanliness, and soundproofing of the room. A good detail to be able to have an infusion or coffee in the room. Right breakfast. All right.

    Huge DISAPPOINTMENT!

    We stayed at EXE Moncloa, Madrid last month. Unfortunately, it was a huge DISAPPOINTMENT! For the amount we paid for a Superior Room with balcony, it is not worth it. The whole place feels like it was designed just to tick the minimum boxes for a four-star rating, without any real thought or care for the guest experience.The hallways were too dark, the lobby was far from welcoming, and the lounge furniture looked like something from flea market collection—complete with the smell. The wellness area didn’t improve things either: the steam bath was broken, and there was nowhere to properly relax after using the sauna.We had hoped the rooftop pool and bar would redeem our stay, but it also fell flat. The area was so minimalistic it lost all character—just stark white furniture with no plants or decorations to give it life. The sun loungers were placed entirely in the sun with no umbrellas for shade! - except for the central couches under the roof. Even our terrace room didn’t have any shade, making it nearly unusable during the day in Madrid’s heat!It turned out that some photos they posted (e.g. of pool area, reception, lobby area) it not so in reality. If we had seen the real photos, we would definitely not stay in this hotel.Overall, we felt this hotel was SIMPLY NOT WORTH the money. With so many better options in Madrid, we will DEFINITELY NOT recommend EXE Moncloa, Madrid.

    Lovely hotel in great location

    Great location for either walking, taking the metro or catching and Uber to explore Madrid. The rooftop pool was lovely for relaxing after a day of exploring. Strangely peaceful for somewhere so close to the centre, with great views. I was pleasantly surprised at the bar prices, great little bar for a nightcap before bed! Lovely, clean rooms with everything you need: toiletries, decent hair dryer,nice coffee, bottles of water etc. Staff very polite and helpful. Would definitely return.

    2nd time in Exe within 6 months. Still I am a bit torn of wheather the 4 stars are a bit rich. Plusses: stirdy beds, well-maintainded rooms, friendly se3rvice and good location for the Uni and the Moncloa area. Minuses: quite a bit of wear and tear all over: the floors, walls, shower... something one would not expect fro the price and rating. The rooms on the smaller side, too, and the lower floor rooms facing backyard can be noisy.

    Biggest disappointment in Madrid - eve moncloa hotel

    Biggest disappointment in Madrid. We booked the hotel only because of wonderful roof swimming pool and roof terrace, but when we checked in and paid already for hotel, we were told, that pool and terrace is yet closed and not available. And in the end we realized, that even breakfast in not in the price of 200 euro for overnight. Absolutely not worth stay here - far from city center, hotel room small and very basic. For the price of 200 euro we have stayed in Madrid Hilton AirPort for few nights with excellent breakfast, gym, pool included. Please look for other options, not Exe Moncloa.
