    Far from the center with the places to visit but in a very communicative place.

    We were on an organized visit to Madrid and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is next to Castilla Square (Plaza de Castilla) and the metro stop is right next to the hotel. Metro lines 1, 9 and 10 intersect here, making it a very communicative place.The hotel is a business type hotel, quiet and with excellent cleanliness. The employees are very kindly.The hotel is close to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and can be easily visited.There are many places to eat nearby. Walk along the C de Bravo Mirillo.

    Room too hot at night and no one available to fix it

    Good location. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Within walking distance from city center (45 minutes).Poor staff and service at front desk. Good soundproof. Damaged room in an early 2000s style and soft, tired bedding. Room too hot at night with bad sleep as a result and no on site technical staff so could not solve problems for 4 days. Not a bad experience, but nothing out f this world !

    The hotel was mostly what we expected: clean, efficient, convenient, and near Chamartín station (a quick hop to/from the airport). We also loved who large the room was and the views of the Kio Towers. However, two things disappointed a bit: first, the "selection of chocolates" (costing €5) was literally four identical little spheres of crunchy chocolate that were each barely bigger than an m&m. It seemed more like a free sample than something you pay €5 for. Secondly, the air conditioning in the room was quite old fashioned and insufficient - we didn't sleep very well in the heat. Apart from that, we were happy with pretty much everything else. It's not really a four-star hotel (no pool, sauna, etc.), but one you are aware of that it meets the expectations quite well.

    For starters, we paid about 678 Euros for a suite, two nights (we wanted the couch as an extra “bed”). It was a last-minute booking, after an AirB&B host stiffed us by yanking the availability of the apartment I booked and paid for months ago.This property offered the location we sought after, right next to a Metro stop not far from the Chamartín Alta Velocidad rail station where there were lots of dining choices. The property featured helpful staff, modern room amenities and rock solid WIFI.Other than that,there’s not much else to say about our room, other that it was a larger-sized plainly styled box. Given the price we paid, a four-star rating feels almost like a gift.

    I stayed at the Exe Plaza hotel for 2 nights on a business trip to Madrid. The location of the hotel is convenient right on Plaza de Castilla with a metro station right in front of the hotel entrance. The location is good for meetings in the north of Madrid; perhaps less ideal on a touristic sightseeing trip to Madrid. Additionally, the airport (Terminal 4) is only 10-15 minutes away by taxi/ uber (uber fair EUR 12). Check-in was quick and my room was located on the 3rd floor. Since one of the two lifts in the building was out of service, I was able to walk as the sole surviving lift saw heavy usage and it took quite some time. The room was clean but very basic. Amenities such as a kettle or coffee making facility were missing all together. Overall, the experience was OK but certainly not value for money. I stayed at better hotels in Madrid for a cheaper.
