Location

This hotel is situated in the Barrio de Palacio, in the centre of Madrid. It is less than 5 minutes away from many major attractions and cultural venues, such as the Royal Palace, the Opera Theatre, the Senate house, Plaza de Callao, Preciados Street, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de España, the Gran Vía and the Plaza Mayor. There are also many shopping opportunities not far away. The areas surrounding Madrid also feature beautiful natural areas, including the mountains to the north and the city itself, as well as various historic locations such as El Escorial or Alcalá de Henares.

16 single rooms and 17 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     perfect for a value for money stay in the heart of madrid

    I've given this five stars. It's obviously not a five star hotel, it's a three star hotel, but as a three star it's great.I was only in Madrid for a day & a night and wanted somewhere reasonably priced and central so I could make the most of my time.The location is fantastic, right in the centre near the Royal Palace. Loads of restaurants and cafes and shops etc. around. It's on a narrow street but has a space outside for dropping off & picking up.The two reception staff I met were both very friendly and helpful. One gave me a really good recommendation for dinner out - that was clearly not on commission and was exactly what I was after - while the other was a great help with shopping for christmas presents. Again not on commission - I told her what I was looking for, she sent me to the right places.I didn't spend a lot of time in the room other than to sleep and shower. But the double bed was large and comfortable, the shower was fine, and the room overall was na lot bigger than I expected. Has a proper kitchenette with a four-ring stovetop, and a fridge, so if you were staying for any length of time you could do your own cooking. Was also a small minibar which is a rarity nowadays.I had an interior room, with a window looking over the interior courtyard. Looking at other reviews it may be that the rooms facing onto the street are noisier. My room had no street noise at all.The only downside was the slamming of room doors in the corridor. They are very loud, and I was woken twice in the night. Fitting soft door closers and/or dampers would minimise this and wouldn't cost much.But despite that I would happily stay here again.

    Hotel is located near Place l'Espana which is a really central place for getting to anywhere else in central Madrid.Room was nice and even had a little kitchen, with hob and microwave.Beds were very comfy.Very convenient location and would recommend staying here for that alone.

    Fantastic staff. Great location - lots of nearby foot traffic and places to eat, walking distance to plaza mayor, but far enough away not to be tourist "ground zero"Room was excellent, spotless and surprisingly roomy. We had NO issues with noise.Only thing keeping this from perfection is that the wifi was meh - came and went, very spotty BTW, if you have a car, strongly recommend prepaying for a spot through the hotel. Parking is impossible otherwise.

    We booked this hotel for 1 night, because we arrived a day earlier in Madrid than we expected.The room was very big, it has a seperate kitchen, sleeping room, bathroom.Although spacious, but not very modern, but not to say old.There is no breakfast provided and unfortenately, the hotel did not have a parking space available for us. So we parked in the surroundings, Plaza Espana was okay (but expensive).The location is very nice!

    I stayed 2 night at the hotel for a business trip in January (FITUR 2023) and I liked it. The location close to the metro station and also to close to the greatest boulevard Gran Via, helped a lot! If you want to do shopping it’s the best location because the hotel is close to stores and also a 5 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol. The room I stayed in was equipped with a kitchenette and a large double bed with comfy mattress and pillows. You can sleep well! The kitchenette does not include cutlery or plates or bowls, so just the appliance. If you want to cook something there then you must bring your own tools. Also, the room is equipped with a small fridge and is very useful of course. The bathroom is spacious and was clean! The staff is friendly and it welcomed me with 2 pieces of dark chocolate 70% in the room. Nice gesture. I recommend this hotel for business trips.
