    Terraces with a view over Madrid

    This fine hotel in the heart of Madrid stands out above the hustle of the Puerta del Sol - the Madrileño Times Square or Piccadilly Circus. Once inside, though, it’s tranquil and hospitable; you enter the lobby lounge and a lift whisks you to your smart and comfortable room. Two things stood out for me. The first was the staff; they always have time for you, if only to ask how your day has been, or what plans you have for the evening. Second, the facilities. There is a roof terrace restaurant, and an outdoor terrace with loungers commanding wonderful views over the city - and inside a fine swimming pool, a splendid gym and a spectacular spa. Altogether really recommended for a luxurious and personal city break.

    Beautiful hotel and excellent service at a perfect, central location. Would recommend requesting an internal room or bringing earplugs if you’re not used to city noise, but otherwise wonderful stay! Would definitely stay here again.     Exceptional staff, spacious rooms, quality food and beverage offerings. Centrally located steps away from Plaza Del Sol. Gorgeous Lobby with attentive staff. Atrium indoor pool was a nice touch. Only disappointment was the Dani rooftop restaurant dinner staff needs to brush up on customer service as we had a couple of instances of them being a bit rude.     Four Season Still Nails It!

    I just wrote an article about how luxury hotels systemically fail at creating an authentic, positive guest experience. This Four Seasons property in Madrid does it right. They get it. It’s not about fine china or a fancy living room. It’s about being thoughtful and kind to guests. Four Seasons staff exceeded all my expectations. They anticipated everything. They laughed at my stupid jokes without patronizing me. They brought me kind little gifts and remembered my name. They get 11/10. All of them. The check in staff, the concierge, the security people, the valets. They are superstars. I will come back to Spain and Madrid only to stay at Four Seasons there.
