    Cramped room with thin walls . Noisy . Full of kids when we stayed , no breakfast available . Not good for the price. Didn’t get to swimming pool . Left as soon as I could . Would not recommend for a peaceful sleep

    I was there during the heat wave in Madrid. I wish they would have told me that there was no Airconditioning in the room. When I brought this to the attention of the desk manager, I was told that he would adjust the temperature. He didn’t.I ask him twice after that for a fan for my room. He said he would. He didn’t. I ended up cutting my losses and changing hotels. I have never done this in all of my years of travel.‘The Funway is a cute place and probably a nice place to stay during normal times. However, I am not sure that there is honesty and courtesy during normal times.

    We really enjoyed our stay the room is small but perfect, the mattress is really comfortable and the bed goes up and down is really awesome. The room was very clean and was perfect to use your computer or study. The pool was very nice as well but was the only facility available as the gym and spa was only available for residents. Staff was helpful and friendly.

    If, like me, you are going to spend most of your day sightseeing and just need somewhere to shower and sleep, I cannot recommend Funway highly enough. It might be 'student' accomodation, but it is cleaner than probably most 2 or 3 star hotels in the city and has everything you need..It is quite far from the centre, so you will need to take the Metro from Tetuan but a 10 travel pass is only 15euros and well worth it. Metro ride takes 10 minutes.Yes, the bed comes down from the ceiling which is super cool and gives you space BUT it's also one of the most comfortable hotel beds Ive slept in (and I travel alot..) The shower is excellent and the room is cleaned everyday. The rest of the accomodation (games room, library etc) is very cool. I didnt try the breakfast but there are a couple of choices or a cafe just across the road.Next time I am in Madrid, I wont hesitate to stay there again!Thank you Funway Team!

    I came here for study, as for the dorm. It is more then just bad.

    I came to this place to live during my study. As it has been told, this place is the dormitory. The pictures are fantastic, but the place not. I took standard room, which is very small, actually. There were some things which were not working right way, white sofa was a little dirty, the walls were terrible dirty. When I told this to the reception, they told me: «So what? It is working, even dirty.». They also give a shower kit. When I opened it, there was hair inside. Yesterday, I came to sleep in my room (in which I had my stuffs) and I saw the man was siting on my sofa and watching my TV. He told me that he is worker and he was painting my walls. But he had no tools for painting or working!!! And he was drunk! Now I make serious case to get my money back. Don’t advise this place, because it is awful and not secured at all!
