  I wish I could give 0 stars as I feel 1 star is too much!! Horrendous experience with incredibly rude staff. Discriminated against myself, husband and our friends in front of other guests. Would NOT recommend!!!

  Myself and boyfriend are currently staying at this hotel with our friends (two other couples) and on day four of our holiday. We were really enjoying our stay until we were treated unacceptably and humiliating in the Sessions Pool area. While myself and four friends were using the pool facilities, a member of staff named Alberto approached us publicly and stated, in front of numerous other guests, “one of you have pissed in the pool, you cannot use it for the rest of the day.” He also brought a security guard over with him, we found this highly intimidating and uncomfortable, particularly given the nature of the situation. This accusation was made without any evidence and in an extremely confrontational and embarrassing manner.The way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. Not only was it deeply humiliating to be publicly accused of such behaviour in front of other guests, but it also felt discriminatory given that there were many other people using the pool at the same time. Singling our group out in this way was inappropriate, degrading, and entirely unprofessional.What made the situation even more embarrassing was that several other hotel guests approached us afterwards to express how shocked they were by the way we had been spoken to. Some even apologised to us on behalf of the hotel staff, commenting on how disgusting and inappropriate it was for staff members to speak to guests in such a public and humiliating manner in front of so many people. The fact that other guests felt compelled to apologise for your staff’s behaviour speaks volumes about how unacceptable the situation was.I was particularly shocked by Alberto’s (Hotel Manager) behaviour and attitude. The manner in which he approached us was aggressive, disrespectful, and lacking any professionalism or basic courtesy expected from hotel management staff.In addition, when we attempted to raise our concerns regarding this incident, the situation was handled very poorly by a guest reservations staff member named Elaina. Her tone and manner when speaking to us were dismissive and unhelpful, which only added further frustration and disappointment to an already upsetting experience.We are all 30-year-old adults and would never engage in the kind of behaviour being alleged. Had Alberto approached us privately and spoken to us discreetly about the situation, rather than making public accusations in front of others and accompanied by security, the matter could have been addressed calmly and respectfully. Instead, the way the situation was handled caused unnecessary embarrassment, intimidation, and distress.This incident significantly impacted our experience at your hotel and left us feeling embarrassed, unfairly targeted, and extremely uncomfortable. As paying guests, we expected to be treated with respect and professionalism at all times.Additionally, we want to express that we do not believe this is the standard of treatment that should be expected, particularly given the cost and nature of our stay. We chose this hotel for a premium holiday experience and have paid a significant amount for our accommodation and facilities. As such, we expected a high level of professionalism, respect, and guest care throughout our stay. Instead, the manner in which this situation was handled felt completely disproportionate, humiliating, and not reflective of the standard of service advertised or expected from a hotel of this calibre. This completely ruined our holiday and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!   I stayed at Hard Rock with my family for my graduation ceremony taking place in Madrid (2 nights). The minute we walked through the doors we had a swift check in, reception spoke flawless English for my parents and had the bags sent up.The rooms were cute and all our requests were taken into consideration, they placed my parents on the same floor and a couple doors down.   A change from my usual choice for a hotel, but one I am glad I made. A small hotel in the centre of Madrid in a great location. An excellent experience from the very start being met by a very lively staff member as I was walking into the hotel. Check was quick with very helpful & friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Oh and the biggest hotel shower I have ever seen. The only down side was that the roof bar was closed and the foyer bar is small and felt crowded with just 20+ people in it.   The room was fine, although half the bathroom is in the room itself; specifically, the sink for brushing your teeth is right next to the bed.Downstairs at the bar, it took us 16 minutes to be served two watered-down cocktails that tasted of nothing. I understand that for €14 per cocktail they might include some gummy bears or something, but it seemed the bartenders were more interested in talking amongst themselves or on their phones than in serving the customers.We ordered hamburgers to eat at the bar, although they had already charged us for the cocktails in a very rude manner, making us feel very uncomfortable. When the hamburgers arrived, the buns were burnt, and the meat, which we ordered well-done, was raw.We won't be back! It doesn't live up to the expectations of a real Hard Rock Hotel.
