Basic But Good

We only stayed one night in Madrid for a gig but our stay was good. The location is very close to Gran Via metro and a short walk from Plaza de Sol etc. The street itself looks a bit dark and dodgy but I didn't actually see any problems even when walking home late.Our room itself was clean, shower pressure wasn't great but was adequate. The bed was a bit too soft, my back wasn't 100% for a few hours the next day but overall for the price I was happy with our stay.

Horrible stay where we had a very small noisy and not clean room. The bed sheets were very old and dirty. We asked the hotel staff to change them and we had a cleaner ones but still old and torn.Iwe also got our clothes sloten from the room by the room cleaning workers. The resception staff did not respond to our complaint. They didn’tt even call the cleaning staff to ask them what happened. I strongly not recommend

Great location and staff! Very helpful team and the accommodation was excellent value for money. Room was very convenient, clean and everything I needed for my last night in Madrid. Consider this place if you need a spot to stay in Madrid - they are excellent.

Simple clean basic hotel. 2 beds, table and tv in room. Clean and staff polite and friendly. Ideal location for a short city break. Subway 5 minute walk and gran via only 2 minute walk. Only thing I would complain about is the smell from the drains. It is a bit unpleasant but if you remember to plug the sinkhole before you leave the room it's ok.

Right on Puerta del Sol in the building with the Tio Pepe sign, it is in a perfect location. The hostal is on the third floor, easily accessible by lift. I had an en-suite room, which although it was basic, was immaculately clean. A great budget option in the heart of the city.
