  A beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located hotel offering exceptional value for money and a truly memorable stay

  Imperfectly perfect. We’ve just returned home after a wonderful two-night stay at Hostal Central Palace Madrid and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and professionally by the lovely front of house staff.Our room was spacious, immaculate, and beautifully equipped with tea, coffee, water, toiletries, and even a little bottle of Cava with champagne glasses waiting for us. Although it was an interior room with no view, it honestly didn’t matter at all. The bed was incredibly comfortable with a soft memory foam mattress and pillows, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The hotel itself is full of rustic charm, and stepping outside to see the Palace right in front of you is really special. The location is perfect — safe, beautiful, and within walking distance of everything Madrid has to offer. In fact, it’s excellent value for money considering the prime location. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid.

  Great hotel and great location

  We arrived in the evening and got a very warm greeting from the receptionist who also gave us assistance with out luggage and some very good information on the area and places to visit. The room was very comfortable and we had booked a room with a view of the Palace and the view was beautiful. There was also a 'welcome ' bottle of prosecco in the fridge for us, which was very nice. Our stay was very comfortable and the hotel's location is excellent for a visit to the city with the Opera metro station just a few minutes' walk away and bars and shops close by. The only down side was that the lift was being refurbished so we had to use the stairs, but the hotel had contacted us before our arrival to advise us and they were very helpful in assisting us with our luggage both on arrival and departure. We would definitely stay here again! 😀

  Gem of a location in the heart of Madrid - we will be back

  Quite simply a gem of a location in the heart of Madrid. We were upgraded to a room with a view at the top of the house which was simply stunning. Sparkling and clean from top to bottom. Despite being in the heart of Madrid it was noticeable how quiet it was. We barely heard other guests on the same floor as us come and go. Alina was uber friendly and helpful too. Only downside was the lift was not working but Alina had rung us in advance to check if we were ok with stairs. And we were - it was great exercise over the few days. Being able to go downstairs into Cafe del Oriente and have a super breakfast was also really convenient. I don't understand why this place is called a Hostal - it makes absolutely no sense. There is no question that we will be back - I've already been in touch to enquire about dates in 2027.

  Had a great stay in this hotel. Was safe and clean and central for walking to main locations in the city.The room was spacious and the bed was good, but the bathroom was very small.
