  Check in went smooth. Room with city view is alright, there is a bed, table and chair, tv and a fridge. The location is very good. Close to metro, shopping, café/restaurant and a Lidl. The walls are a bit thin and you might here your neighbor if they are loud.

  The hostel is not at all as in shown in the pictures.The bed is confortable, the bathroom needs improvements. The wi-fi almost doesn't work.It is very well located, in the city center. Although it has a dancing bar right below, it actually didn't bother me, perhaps because I was too tired for walking all day long.For a 1/2 nights stay, it is not bad. But as I said, manage your expectations for what you are going to find.

  They give me one room where the air condition was droping, and refuse to change it, is a piti, because is well located, the rooms are quite small and is not really the best place. Is just good to sleep and no mere

  Well forthe price rooms are ok, but their service is terrible. They are not speaking english so before coming to the hostel we could not even confirm the reservation. But thats not the worst part. On our departure day, we were in rush and i accidentally left my sport shoes in the balcony of the room. Then I tried to contact them 20 times through emaisl and calls. None of 8 emails were answered. Then I called the girl was not speaking english, so I tried my best in spanish. I told her about the shoes and she asked reservation number, since I did not have it with me I told her I will call back. I did it in 3 minutes and she was not picking up anymore for 6 times. Never got back to me. Then I asked my spanish friend to call from spanish number - miracle they picked up! My friend asked if they found any shoes they said no. After they asked what brand, my friend said its reebok and they said no again. Then my friend asked why do they ask brand if they did not find any shoes....well seems I am not getting back my shoes.

  We were looking for something cheap and cheerful in the centre of Madrid and this is exactly what we got.The double room was very small but we only wanted a place to sleep as we wanted to get out and experience the city.The bathroom was small also but again was adequate for a short trip.There is a nightclub right next to the hotel which you can hear the music until 3am (we only heard the music on the 3rd night, as we had been in the club the 2 previous nights haha)The hostal is only a couple of minutes walking distance to Puerto del Sol and Grand Via.WOuld recommend for someone looking for a central hostal close to everything.Wifi connection was not great at all.
