    The location is really great 5-10 mins from 4 train stops/lines getting in and around is super convenient.The single room was small but clean, no fridge or water kettle. The front desk is limited, 10:30am-5;30pm only, so be aware of arrival the 2 front access doors use a real key, and the elevator wont fit more than 2-3 people sans luggage

    Wonderful location; easy walk to Puerta del Sol. Extremely bright and clean. Plenty of room. Perfect place for a stay in Madrid. Although we didn't need two beds (triple room) was glad we had it. Great shelves for our backpacks. Easy to find from the subway.

    Lovely hostal - which basically seems to be converted apartments, en suite. The location is perfect, 8min to plaza mayor, or Sol, or Palacio Real. Metro Callao is 3 min away. The room was a bit cold even with heating on, but the shower was very nice and there was warm cover and two pillows. The towels smelled lovely and clean! On my first night there was a fire alarm as a goofy guest in another room was smoking in the balcony. Remember people: smoking is bad for you, and in hotels it’s bad for everyone (that alarm at 1am really bugged me). The other thing is walls aren’t really thin, and you can pretty much hear what happens everywhere. Light sleepers may struggle a bit. Communications before the trip were great. Could not be faulted!     Very clean and comfortable room equipped with all the necessities. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our room was in the back of the building and we didn't hear any noise, not even from our neighbors.We stayed in the standard double room and it was a bit smaller than expected.
