    While in there this Aug 7 to 10 the air conditioner was not working. I discussed that with the front deck person which he said he can not do anything about it until the next day. He stated the whole hotel system is not working so giving me another room would not fix the problem. I had very hard time sleeping that night due to air not working. The next day some one came and worked on the system and it was working for few hours and stop working again. We changed room but that room was also warm, I would recommend pay a little more and go to a more reliable hotel.

    A perfect location to stay. Everything is walking distance from here. The staff is also very friendly. The rooms are big, nice and clean. We had a comfortable stay here.The beds are comfortable too. The shopping area is close by...say about 5 mins walking and all premium brand showrooms are around.

    Clean hotel, nice and warm with the A/C, attentive staff, the only disadvantage could be that it can get noisy on busy nights. But really it's a very well located - super close to Atocha, Prado, Reina Sofia, Thyssen Bornemisza and many more attractions!!.

    They sold our reserved room three hours before we arrived. They just told us we were sorry. We stayed outside. We had a very bad holiday. When we said this, they threatened to throw us out of the hotel.

    BEWARE: When I arrived in my room the air conditioning was off, and the Madrid temperature outside was about 100 degrees. Hotel personnel had to turn it on and I was sweating profusely until the room became cool. For the following 2 mornings (of the total 5 mornings of my stay) I woke up sweating since the air conditioning was turned off overnight. I had to request that it be turned on each morning. I spoke to the employees about it and they said they did not know why the air conditioning was shutting off at night, and the manager was out of communication for the next week (after my 5-day visit ended). I requested a rate adjustment for the extreme inconvenience, but the request was denied by the hotel manager. Such a shame.
