    We had a good experience with this hotel. Nice ,,basic , clean rooms. The only problem was checking in. It took us over an hour to check in. The line was just too long and the service was very slow.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I had an incredible stay at Hotel Cortez! The location is perfect—right in the heart of Madrid, with everything you could possibly need just a short walk away.A huge thank you to Felipe at reception, who was absolutely amazing throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed—truly outstanding service!Also, big appreciation for the housekeeping team, especially Sandra, who kept everything spotless and was always so kind and professional.I will absolutely be coming back every time I’m in Madrid. Highly recommended!

    The photos on their website and booking platforms (I booked through Hotels.com) are misleading compared to the actual condition of the rooms. As others have pointed out, the front desk staff is far from welcoming. There was concerning mold in the shower, and the vents were filthy. The Wi-Fi in the rooms was unreliable, forcing us to use our own data.The manager dismissed our concerns, claiming they reached out to offer a room change—which never happened. They ignored our emails about the false advertising and hygiene issues and only offered a 10% discount on our next stay. Honestly, when am I ever coming back to Madrid from Canada? What a joke.Hotels.com is also failing to address the false advertising, but I will continue to pursue both the hotel and them until we are properly compensated.
