Location

This hotel occupies a classical building from the 1900's and lies at the heart of Madrid, only paces from the Gran Via and close to the King's Palace. Countless shops, restaurants, bars and clubs are located in the immediate vicinity as well as convenient links to the public transport network.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1883. The hotel has 8 suites, 5 single rooms and 86 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park.     Nice hotel, but communication needs improvement

    A quiet, modern hotel in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and I would have rated it 5 stars, except that it wasn't clearly communicated to us that there would be a charge for breakfast. After a 6 night stay, our breakfast charge was E276.00!! Hoteles Intur, Owner at Hotel Intelier Palacio San Martin, responded to this review Dear Julie, We again apologise for the misunderstanding. The booking you made was only for acomodattion and we informed you about the breakfast just in case you wanted it, not because it was included.     Great hotel in an excellent location

    Stayed 4 nights at the Intelier Palacio, the hotel is in an excellent location for all the main sites in the city and a 10 minute walk across Plaza Mayor to the La Latina district where there are lots of really good tapas bars and restaurants .The rooms are clean and spacious with the usual safe, mini bar and air conditioning. The hotel bar is reasonably priced with seating outside on the plaza. Calleo metro stop is one minute away for the transport to the airport.All in all a really good hotel which I’d definitely recommend if you were to visit Madrid.     Hotel intelier isa great and great location in Madrid. Within walking distance to many locations. Great Customer service and very nice.
