    Excellent breakfast and breakfast room.

    So I promised this review a long time ago. This is an inexpensive, acceptable hotel right in the heart of Madrid, and within an easy walk to everywhere you might want to go. What makes this place truly special is the breakfast room overlooking the Gran Via. I'd get there right at 7 am, and watch the sun rise over the city, glowing up the buildings, as the city woke up and went to work. The coffee with sweet orange peel was delicious, and the hotel offers everything you could possibly want for a complete breakfast. All the staff were super nice, from the manager, to the many young women who made sure all the food was fully stocked and available. I'd stay here again for the morning experience alone.     Absolutely cannot fault the place for the price that was paid.We had an inside facing room but still had 100% privacy with window open.Rooms cleanStaff friendly and helpfulCheck in smooth Early check in allowedGreat bathroomTowels and toiletries providedHotel is perfectly located for all of the city centre. With plenty of bars and restaurants close by. A McDonald’s down stairs and casino across the road.Great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.     Great base from which to explore Madrid

    This was my first trip to Madrid and I picked the perfect hotel in this one. Literally 10 metres from Gran Via metro station, it’s ideally situated for exploring the city, and within easy reach of Chueca, Plaza Mayor and other tourist spots. In addition to the great position, this hotel really comes into its own with their breakfast offering. Usually I wouldn’t bother with hotel breakfasts as they’re usually pretty unexciting but this one is very different - a MASSIVE buffet consisting of pretty much anything and everything you’d hope to find at breakfast, from fruit and yoghurt to pastries, toast and cooked breakfast offering (weirdly the only thing missing is cereal). The room is fine - the bathroom is large and includes full shower and bath plus a bidet, while the room itself is functional with plenty of storage space to put clothes in and a safe for valuables. The one thing where the room falls down is twin beds, which really should be a double bed instead. All staff were friendly and welcoming, and provided great service. All in all I would happily book here again when I next visit Madrid.     We had a very nice stay of three nights in this beautiful and cute hotel. It's located on Gran Via, the tourist heart of Madrid. The staff is very attentive. The breakfast is varied. The rooms are nice and comfortable. My only recommendation would be to install non-slip mats in the bathtub. Otherwise, the bathroom is very nice and has amenities.A highly recommended hotel.     The hotel has basic facilities but it is clean and all the staff are very helpful….
