    Visit for Madrid Half

    On arrival we were unsure what to expect. The hotel is eclectic and quirky, furniture is mismatched but it works. We got to our room and found it to be clean and really comfy beds. The bathroom was clean, towels were provided as well as toiletries. Mini bar the room was well stocked. Walking distance of Grand Via which has plenty of shops and restaurants. Madrid is a bustling city and we enjoyed our stay

    I believe that Hotel Life has more than one building, we stayed in Hotel Life Natura on Calle Pizarro, Madrid. A true gem of a find. Good size, clean, comfortable room. Excellent room service. Super helpful staff. Extremely centrally located - walking distance from all major sites - museums, piazzas, restaurants etc. Cannot recommend this more highly and its star rating should definitely be reviewed up.

    Good location.Poor bedding and sheets.Not even a water glass or a cattle in the room. Bed was very hard.The room was smelling cigarette.This is more a bag packer hostel than a proper central Madrid hotel.The staff can to help when asked for it.

    Awful hotel - overpriced and non-existent management

    At a rate of 100eur/night, this is a budget option for Madrid. However the hotel overpromises and under delivers. Air Con doesn’t work in the summer and after first saying someone would come repair the issue, the front desk later admitted guests don’t have individual control over AirCon. The temp is set by management on to govern the entire floor. I spent previous nights at a cheaper property that had normal air con which was controlled independently. Beds are hard as a rock and towels are like sandpaper. Don’t be fooled by the cute decor - it’s lipstick on a pig.

    If you look for central gran via and easy access to metro, this could be your choice. However, on our first night, it was cold and no idea whether or not there was heater in the room. Staff are friendly. Coffee and tea are complimentary at the entrance 24 hours I suppose. Nice design. Sometimes, it smells like cleaning products throughout the building specially in the morning as the staff are doing their works. Check in/out and breakfast are in sister hotel 2 mins walk away.
