Clean hotel but noisy location

The hotel room and bathroom is lovely and very clean. Great breakfast selection. The staff were friendly too. The big downside is that it is a very short distance from a main railway line that’s busy 24/7 and our room had a large noisy electric substation outside our window. The room was very warm and the air conditioning was off as it was “out of season” in April so to have the window open meant we couldn’t sleep from noise or bake from heat. Such a shame as the hotel was fine. Also the hotel could do with a guest bar.

Nice hotel in Las Matas.Rooms are wide and clean, comfortable, although with very few amenities (I would expect a bottle of water at least).The service is kind and welcoming.The location is convenient for that area of Madrid, at walking distance from Las Matas train station.

Clean very basic hotel.....no tea/coffee making facilities....no bar or restaurant other than breakfast .....views are awful and.rooms very noisy as next ro train station.....location way too far outside Madrid centre.....checked out early to be closer.to.City and.get a night's sleep......

Small and clean hotel. Rooms mid sized and clean. So far so good. Dom bars and Restaurants around, not much. The train station is just aside the hotel. Breakfast is ok/good. I think would not come again as there are some more nice hotels around. This one is still ok.

Hotel Las Matas is a clean, comfortable hotel that provides a comfortable bed, good breakfast, and hospitable staff. Hotel is next to a grocery store, German beer garden, and a block from commuter train to Madrid. Train runs every 15 minutes and costs about 3 euro one way. Hotel is also one train stop from Las Rozas outlet shopping and a Carrefour hypermarket. Both Las Rozas outlet shopping centers are within walking distance if you dont mind a 10-20 minut walk. Hotel staff can help find directions and trains to Toledo and othe cities. Just know this hotel has no concierge, no gym, no business center. As long as you are not expecting that level of amenity this hotel is a good option for those willing to be a 20 minute train ride from dowtiwn Madrid.
