The hotel has 41 suites, 64 single rooms and 201 double rooms, which are located on 17 storeys and are reachable by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     We had an excellent stay in this hotel. We booked a junior suite with a Terrace, and because I had joined the loyalty program, They allowed us to pick our room about three or four weeks in advance from the website. Room 2001 on the 20th floor was three separate rooms, each with large French doors opening to the balcony which was only about 2 feet deep but about 30 feet long. The room was very comfortable and beautiful with an excellent view. People complain about the line at breakfast, but we found them to be very efficient. When we went to the rooftop bar to have lunch, we were given priority and got a table very quickly. We found the service to be excellent, The hotel is in a great central location. We booked it many months in advance and it was half the price of our other European hotels and the room was twice as nice.We highly recommend it.

    Such a great Hotel I never look for alternative, I will always return to the Riu Plaza as it’s everything you need and more. Great rooms, plentiful breakfast, very good staff and great location.

    Couldn’t have asked for more from our recent stay at Riu Plaza. We booked a family room which was a great size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice.Location was fantastic. The hotel overlooks a lovely plaza and is very close to the palace. All the transport links for getting around the city can be found next to the hotel making it the ideal base to explore the city.Swimming pool was small however was big enough for the kids to enjoy and for adults to cool off. Roof terrace was a good size next to the pool with sun beds chairs and a bar.The 360 roof bar was excellent with great atmosphere, live DJ and amazing views over Madrid.Highly recommend.

    Hotel was nice and central. Well equipped and having a rooftop bar and restaurant was a real plus! Rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good also. Having a small pool at the property was also an added bonus.

    We spent 4 nights in the Riu and had a fabulous stay. The hotel is immaculate and very well ran. The room was large and modern and very quiet. The rooftop bar is gorgeous with amazing views. The breakfast was unreal. It was delicious such a good selection and considering the size of the hotel was very well organised. Would definitely stay here again.
