Location

The hotel is located in Madrid's historic centre, in the La Latina quarter, just a short distance from the city's most important monuments and buildings. The Almudena Cathedral, the Royal Palace, Plaza de Oriente, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol are all less than 1 km away. It is also located in Madrid's most well-known area for entertainment, and offers a superb atmosphere, surrounded by famous restaurants and "tapas" taverns, as well as cinemas and museums. The nearest metro stations are La Latina and Puerta de Toledo. Atocha and Principe Pio train stations are 10 minutes away by car, and the bus station is 15-minutes away. Madrid Airport is about 15 km away.

Facility

38 non-smoking rooms, including 2 single rooms and 28 double rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Very nice weekend stay

    Very nice location, clean room and efficient and friendly staff. It was a bit expensive, but that was because of the busy weekend in Madrid. Close to bars and restaurants, a few blocks from the metro station. We did not try the breakfast. Very likely that we will go back.

    After seeing the descriptions of the hotel regarding all its services, I feel obliged to warn my readers that nothing it describes is true. There is no bar or buffet breakfast. The air conditioning is at the discretion of the receptionist and if he feels that it is cool they turn it off and there is no control from the room!!! , the facilities are old and with little maintenance. The hotel's descriptions of service and features are misleading. I do not recommend it.

    Best thing about this hotel is its location. Less than 15 min walk to palace, mercado Sam Miguel and Plaza Mayor. Lots of great tapas bars on Calle Baja, 10 mins away. We walked everywhereBed very comfortable, great shower and air conditioning and room was clean. Hotel could do with updating/redecorating but don’t let this put you off. Receptionist rang taxi for us to get to airport. Set price €30. Loved Madrid. Would recommend for a laid back short city break

    The location is accessible by bus or metro. Walking distance to Plaza Mayor and Royal Palace is about 15 to 20 minutes. It has a wifi and air conditioning. Price for the hotel is really worth it. Highly recommended for business, couples and family for stay.

    Excellent stay again and excellent service from my favourite hotel. This hotel is situated well within walking distance of all of Madrid's major attractions. Lots of great tapas bars close by and only a few minutes walk from La Latina metro station. The staff are friendly and attentive and make you feel at home. Oscar on reception was very helpful on arrival and I recommend this hotel to friends and family.
