This hotel is situated in the exclusive and luxurious commercial district of Serrano, at the heart of the city. Located between the Velázquez and Goya Street, the hotel is close to the shopping street Serrano Street, the Plaza Colón, the National Library, the archaeological museum and the Paseo de la Castellana. Links to the public transport system can be reached within 50 m and takes guests to the Madrid Barajas Airport (13 km). The three most important museums of the city, Prado Museum, Thyssen Bornemisza Museum and the Reina Sofía Modern Art Centre are all located on a street nearby. The various shopping facilities and entertainment venues can be reached within only a few minutes.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1910. 61 rooms, including 10 suites and 33 double rooms, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock.     After more than 12 years staying at this hotel Im afraid we will never do it again.We spent 2 nights there and the second night we were woken up for the shouting int he corridor. We understand, the hotel cant control where other guest do but we were expecting the events wont last for a whole hour.The people on reception didn't even apologize the day after.We were 5 women carrying bags of 15 kg and nobody (4 employees were on the reception) helped us to drop bags or pick them up when we were back to head to the airport.We wait 20 minutes outside for a taxi and again even if no other guest was around, we were not assisted with our luggage.After writing a personal complain to management, no answer was received for a week.Staff were completely indifferent and unhelpful. We had to wait a long time and our complaints were dismissed by management.With so many hotels in Madrid we will definitely find a better option!!!     Wondeful spot for a family of 4 near retiro, Metro

    Great location, a close walk to Retiro park and the Retiro metro stop. Very friendly staff. we had an excellent room with very comfortable bed, bunk beds, and a nice window. spacious. Very elegant interior, clean, modern, not pretentious, and very quiet - wonderful sleep at night. highly recommend for the location, price, value, and experience for families or couples.
