Overall a great stay experience - the hotel interior is very clean and stylish whilst remaining traditional and functional. The hotel has a charm about it and the bathroom is very luxurious. The staff at hotel Julia were very patient and even allowed us an extra 15 minutes after checkout to pack our stuff given the certain context of our lateness. There is motorcycle parking available and great transport links nearby. In terms of value for money, for a capital city hotel Julia was great, not too expensive but a great find!

Stayed here for the Football.Handy to get to & from Athletico Madrid, not too far away.If you're wanting a centre stay however I'd probably look for something closer.The hotel itself was clean for us.Beds OK.The receptionist sent me on a wild goose chase for a Kebab mind at 3 o'clock in the morning.

Crap hotel, price excessive!

At first sight the hotel looks nice, but the room wasn’t clean when I arrived (hairs in the bathroom sink). At second sight, the beds are really short (I’m 1.85m). The internet was crappy in my room and that of a colleague. The cleaning lady likes to start early, fine, but don’t make so much noise at 7:30 that the toom next to it (my room) wakes up from it. Breakfast was mediocre at best. One of the 2 days I got the wrong order. Worst of all, I paid nearly 200 euros per night for all of this and when I mentioned some of my concerns above, they seemed uninterested. I will be back in Madrid soon, but they won’t see me back in this hotel!

If you don’t have any other options, this hotel will do; consider yourself warned the beds are tiny!!!!!My husband, 6 ft, and myself, 5’6” were almost unable to sleep in the same bed and we were in Madrid for 11 nights. The rollaway beds were 35€/night!!!!!

I happened to need a Hotel from thursday to monday and had a job finding one at the right price, then I realised that it was the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) and on these dates Madrid is extremely busy with visitors from all over the world and therefore prices go up. I came across this hotel and although the 2* category was below what I usually buy it had some very good comments by users so I book it. I was not disapointed. It was overall a good and experience and good value for money. On the first three days I paid just over 85 euros per night for the room but on the sunday the price came down to 55 euros. the comfort, cleanliness, service etc were all good but one thing worth mentioning is the coffee shop which was very good and inexpensive. Because the Cafeteria is closed on saturday and sunday the hotel offers its guests a free buffet breakfast which was very enjoyable.
