    Better than expected!

The property is located right outside a beach which I didn’t expect. About 30mins drive from the airport. Renting a car is highly recommended, definitely works out cheaper plus to get around easier. Our room was a junior suite (we were a family of 4) the room was big and clean enough, it had lots of storage, the dinning and living room was big and sofa bed can fit 2 people. It had a mini kitchen, mini fridge, microwave, kettle, utensils, glasses, plates. The terrace was massive over looking the seaside. It had 2 sun beds and chairs and tables with umbrella. It’s very family friendly. It has a big children’s pool, a pool for adults and children and 1 for adults only. They also had entertainments throughout the day until night time. There is massage service available. A small playground. The dinning was big, food was good. They have a good selection of cold and hot food. It was surprisingly cheap to upgrade to all inclusive. The beach was lovely, clear water and had some water activities. There’s about 5-6 restaurants around the area, a spar store, 2 souvenir/ convenient store, 2 other hotels. Parking is off street and free. The staff were lovely, easy to talk to.We all loved the place! We really enjoyed our first time in Ibiza.

    Great family holiday!

    rating23 Sept 2019

We are a family of 3. Myself my husband and a 2 year old girl. The moment we arrived at the hotel we were well look after. Check in was fast. Room and hotel were very clean. All the staff were lovely. The air condition in our room was not working well I reported it at reception and they quicky solve the problem. The apartment was very spacious. The splash pool was the highlight for us as our baby loved it so much and kept her busy. All the hotel areas were very clean. The hotel is located in a very quiet area to stay, special if you are travelling with kids. I high reccommend it for families with young children. Thanks for all the staff. We had a fab holiday!

Arrived here for a 4 night break with my wife. It is a really easy place to find just look for the Irish bar and walk by the side of it straight into reception. Once there we checked in and paid for the room and the tourist tax we headed to the room. The room 201 itself was very spacious everything you would need for a self catering apartment was there. However the beds were terrible and the shower leaked so wasn't really fit for purpose. This was reported the next day and as of yet still hasn't been looked at 3 nights into our stay. The people in the next room had small children and were quite noisy but hayho what I didn't think was acceptable was the cleaners in at 08:45 next door dragging furniture etc across the floor cleaning the room. I had read reviews about the hotel being very noisy I didn't really find that but we were above the restaurant next door right next to the sea so the view was great. The only real noise came from the hotels on the opposite side of the bay. They were loud!!!

Best bit of Ibiza for families

    rating20 Aug 2017

Booked this for our family holiday and had an enjoyable week with plenty of sunshine. Plus points it's dead clean modern and the apartments are a good size for 2 adults and two small children. The facilities in the room do not lend themselves to self catering as you only get a microwave and a kettle so it's a room rather than an apartment in all honesty. The hotel itself is nice and the staff were excellent in all areas especially the animacion team who did their best on a tight budget. It's a great family hotel for a week as the resort is quite small but easily located to go on lots of short trips out to the caves, private beaches in walking distance follow the cliff path and you reach a hippie bar called utopia not to be missed. The down sides are the pool is too small and has far too many inflatables and kids jumping all over it to make it relaxing, there is an adults pool which is heaven and a very different holiday as you can't eleven hear the kids pool from it. The food was average and the usual Med all inc buffet catering well for the English folk who like their British fayre ! For the more adventurous of us there were nice local dishes too. I upgraded to all inc on the second day and it's worth doing when you get there rather than at time of booking as was a lot cheaper. I will say that the drinks were a bit of a let down really watered down with wine and sangria coming from machine pumps !! San Miguel is a lovely little place with a handful of small restaurants and bars and a couple of shops which were all good. The water taxis on the beach are cheap and will take you to neighboring beaches for 3 euros each way PP.All in all a really nice holiday but a week was the perfect amount of time. Good for families who just want some sun and sea in a casual resort.Just don't expect the full all inc that you get in the carribean
