More❤️2Hotel Las Estrellas (owner)6 months agoHello Julio,Thank you for your review. After reading several comments regarding the door opening, a bell was installed at the main door so that the night staff can hear from various places in the hotel. If it took about 5 or 10 minutes, it may be that he was in the bathroom, because there is no other reason. We apologize for the wait and any inconvenience caused by this wait, but for safety reasons, the door closes when the reception staff is not present.Best regardsReserve tableLoli Bermudez2 reviews8 hours agoNewVacation | FamilyOn Saturday night, after spending the day at Warner, we went to Hotel Las Estrellas where we have a reservation for 2 double rooms. To our surprise, when we arrived, we were told that the reservation was canceled by the operator and that they had no rooms available. They could do nothing to help us and told us to figure it out ourselves, without providing assistance or explanations, and with a terrible attitude from the receptionist Eliana Betancur and the manager on the phone, who told us in few words to find our own solution and that she would not come to the establishment to try to resolve the issue. The local police were called, and they were the ones who finally offered us a solution by finding us another hotel to spend the night after several hours of waiting and completing the paperwork for the complaint, as they could not find the complaint forms. When the new shift came in, they informed my son, who was at the establishment, that after several hours, the reservation had appeared, but they had not had the name correct. Meanwhile, I had already moved to the other hotel and paid for the rooms there. This hotel is a disaster, and the staff is apathetic and quite rude, showing no willingness to provide solutions to customers. It has been a horrible experience, and we spent terrible hours without a place to sleep. The staff is unprofessional and unhelpful, as they only knew to say that the operator had the problem instead of looking for alternatives.Terrible experience. Great but there are certain things to improve

The installations were fine in general, the staff was nice, the beds were comfortable but the food was not second to none, and there was a very restricted variety. I wish the bathrooms, and specially the shower were bigger, you barely have space to shower!

Calm and clean, good for a recovery sleep after a day in Warner park

    rating31 Jul 2017

A simple hotel, in a calm area, with easy and free parking around. Kind staff, the rooms were clean, bathroom worked well and breakfast was a common buffet, only missing more fruit. It would be perfect with a pool, but it seems to be specially used by families visiting Warner park, and those will have not much time to stay in the hotel.

    Could do with some improvement

    rating14 Nov 2016

The room itself was satisfactory; clean, with good quality furnishings and bathroom, although the shower did not have a holdall which wasn't great. The staff were also as helpful as they could be despite not speaking any English, and were happy to extend my check out. However there were a few basic things I was surprised about: I asked for an iron (which they had) and was told they had no ironing board (!) so I had to iron my shirt on the floor as there was nowhere else. I went down to breakfast just before 10am and everything had been cleared away, even though it was supposed to close at 10.30. I asked when the restaurant opened so I could eat something and was told it was closed on a Saturday, of all days! These things may be small but they matter - with a bit more effort, this hotel could be better.

    Super choice

    rating19 Sept 2013

We wanted somewhere close to Madrid - and found this hotel exactly right. Only a few miles south of Madrid so great for visiting the city. Modern, comfortable, friendly staff, excellent food - we stayed half board and the meal that Carmen provided was first class. Good breakfast too. It is well worth paying a little extra for the underground secure parking but do prepare yourself as the entrance is quite steep. If you need any supplies, Mercadona supermarket is just at the end of the same road.
