  This hotel is a safety hazard. Stay away!

  Disappointing stay at what is supposed to be a central Madrid hotel. The rooms are extremely dated and clearly haven’t been updated in years. During my stay, a door literally fell on my foot — a serious safety hazard that should never happen in any hotel. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, they were indifferent and unhelpful. To make matters worse, there was no doctor or medical assistance available despite an injury on the premises. For the price point, you’d expect at least basic maintenance and attentive service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

  We picked this hotel for its location and style, it was a perfect spot in the city for walking everywhere. Nice standard of rooms, we had an inner courtyard accessible room which was very quiet and calm. Breakfast was very good, didn’t care for the self service coffee machines, average weak coffee. Otherwise the breakfast was a great standard and selection. We enjoyed the hotel lounge and bar. A nice zen space after coming in from the crazy Sol Plaza. Overall we would highly recommend the hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. A kettle would have been a perfect addition to the rooms for our personal preference.   Fantastic Stay!

  Had a lovely stay at the Hotel Liabeny in February. I found the room to be spacious enough for my needs and it was clean! The hotel is in a great location for exploring Madrid with all the major attractions and sights within walking distance. Lots of restaurants in the area if you don't want to venture too far to grab food. All the staff that I encountered were super friendly. I opted for the breakfast option and was not disappointed with the variety every morning. Probably one of the best free breakfasts I've had on a European vacation. I highly recommend the Hotel Liabeny in Madrid.   Great location only positive. Cold check in, preferences disregarded. No irons to borrow, just high priced inconvenient pressing service. No full length mirror, only the mirror over sink. For this reason, we offer a professional in-house laundry and pressing service, ensuring garments are treated with care and returned in perfect condition.   The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and in the BEST location. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast Buffett was fantastic with yummy food. I highly recommend this hotel!
