  More like a hostel than a hotel..AVOID!

  This is not a hotel...more like a hostel. Linens dirty and whole area sketchy and as a woman travelling, would never recommend to stay here. Just gave the vibes if the horror movie "The Shining".   Avoid at All Costs!

  Airline paid for me to stay here. (Don't let them put you here!) Lobby and "hang out area" look somewhat promising, but the table in hangout area was all sticky. (gross). I didn't even bother to eat my free meal based on what the hotel was like. Hallways stink like cleaning supplies and rooms are a dump. Most the lights in my room didn't work and none in the bathroom worked. There is no comforter, just sheets. Neighborhood is ROUGH, which is probably why there is a security guard constantly out front. Their "shuttle" service is a joke. Putting four adults in a Corolla taxi flagged down by hotel employee???   Great once you're there - FORGET THE SHUTTLE!

  Stayed end of January due to cancelled flight at Madrid airport. The suite was spacious & clean. The supper was a great buffet with soup, meat & salad options. The breakfast buffet was amazing! 🤩 Fruit, yogurt. Many types of bread & rolls, charcuterie, eggs, bacon, pastries... Everything you could want including unlimited hot and cold drinks. What let the place down? The rooms were COLD and there didn't appear to be any way to control the temperature. And the airport shuttle!😱 **** Forget it! ****🫣 Get a taxi, Uber or whatever. I waited 2 hours for shuttle from the airport to the suites - each time I rang I was told it would be at the airport in half an hour... finally I took Uber (cost just under 15 euros ) & got there in 20 minutes. Leaving the suites, I was offered 7.15am or 11am....both unsuitable for a noon flight. Again I used Uber (cost just under 15 euros again) AND I could pick my journey time. Note to the Suites management: don't even mention the shuttle bus if you're not prepared to manage it properly!   Hotel with prison vibes. The choice that Iberia gives you when you have a flight cancellation. no bueno! Horrible stay!

  Terrible stay after a horrible long day at the airport. Our flight was cancelled and after being exhausted this is the last place I would want to stay. Shame on Iberia/British Airways for booking this hotel for people that have cancelled flights. It’s not even a standard hotel. The TV in my room didn’t work, free breakfast at 7:30am but if your flight leaves at noon the shuttle is only available at 7:30am, no later times!! Iberia pays for breakfast and dinner but I ended up just ordering pizza because I don’t know what standard the food was going to be. Why would even Melia affiliate themselves with this kind of hotel. It doesn’t makes sense.
