    I have, I believe, the highest status of Marriott loyalty. So I speak from experience. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was great (especially Irene and Griss).The shuttle from the airport had no AC. It was 35C that day. Awful. Neither that driver nor the one on the return helped us with our luggage; other passengers did. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one to assist with our bags (I use a cane, help is appreciated).The staff in the Executive Lounge was great. The food was below Marriott standards though.     Cleaning products used to sanitize rooms are offensive ? toxic odor.

    We were booked for one evening overnight, prior to a flight exiting Madrid early the following morning. The Reception desk staff & Executive Lounge staff were all pleasant. Our room was in Tower 2, third floor. Walking down the corridor to the rooms, I detected an unusual odor in the hallway. Upon opening the door to our room, the toxic odor was absolutely overwhelming! While the room is nicely appointed, the cleaning supplies used to sanitize between guests is a hazard to one's lung fields. The odor is chemically offensive & quite intolerable. While thankful for a window that opened apx. 3", this was insufficient in clearing the air. Had our situation been different, we'd have cancelled our reservation and moved to another property immediately.     Wonderful Marriott property close to the Airpirt and they have a feee Shuttle to the Airport. tVery comfortable rooms and delicious buffet breakfast. Excellent Service by all the Staff.     Smooth Stay with Exceptional Service at Reception

    I had a great experience at the Marriott. Was well-organized, comfortable, and ideal for both business and events. The atmosphere was professional, and everything ran smoothly throughout my visit.What truly stood out, though, was the service—particularly Pablo at reception. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and efficient from the moment I arrived. He went out of his way to make sure everything was handled quickly and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest.Overall, a very positive experience. The combination of a well-maintained venue and outstanding staff made a lasting impression. I would definitely return and recommend this location to others.     Terrible customer service & experience

    The customer service at this hotel is poor at best. The reception staff are unwelcoming and rude - we witnessed one sour looking staff member snap she was helping other customers when clearly she wasn’t. You are made to feel an inconvenience and the first impression is poor as a result. The room was fine - large and clean. Comfy bed. Few options for food and drinks which were okay. Waiting for the shuttle in the morning seemed straightforward until it became a free for all and the staff just let those who pushed the hardest get on. Having queued for 30 minutes we were then told we couldn’t get on whilst all those behind us had. Staff just shrugged their shoulders and walked off. Absolute shambles, ended up in a taxi. Stay in Madrid and enjoy the city, avoid this hotel at all costs - it’s an embarrassment to the Marriott name.
