Location

The city hotel is located in the business centre of El Carralero, about 600 m from central Majadahonda.     Worst hotel with horrible employee. No coffee makes me unhappy. No water pressure so cannot take shower.

    An employee who runs the coffee bar & cleans rooms should not be in the hospitality industry.She is rude, suspicious, & does not like customers. There is no water pressure & shower has mold. No coffee

    The hotel is quite basic, but it was clean and comfortable. The rooms are small, but they have everything you need, including a bed, a small desk, a TV, and a bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and the TV was small but adequate.The entrance patio gives the hotel a nice luminosity, and the cafe by the lobby was good for a drink. The bartender was very kind and friendly. The location is close to the highway next to an industrial area, and there is a small mall nearby, but there is not much to do around.Overall, I had a positive experience at the hotel, it is a good option for business travelers who need to be around and for budget travelers who are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in Madrid.

    The staff were absolutely brilliant. Very helpful and accommodating to all our needs and requests. Was clean and safe and a relaxed environment. Covid precautions in place.     I used this hotel for business, booked an early morning taxi back to the airport via the front desk. The driver charged me 71E while the meter stated 55E. This surcharge he could not explain and got heated when I pressed him on it. I complained to the hotel about this service they were booking and .... nothing. Kick back time? I can stand a lot but not being ripped off.

    Spanish Majesty

    We had planned a quick tour to Madrid, Spain. Our Hotel Majadohonda choice was but a short ride out of Madrid centre. Bonus!!! We enjoyed Madrid's beauty and majesty and its historical venues from the Royal Palace to the many gardens, parks and museums. Make a point of seeking out the beautiful life-size 'las maninas' statues...beautiful statuettes with different themes! We think there are about 80...we found 30! The restaurants are terrific! The city offers so much...all walking distance from the city's centre. We are accustomed to Euro-dining but nothing surprised us more than Spanish dinner time!! Most Madridians dine at or around 10:00pm. We adapted quickly with some early munching on tapas and cool beer. The other pleasant part of dining is the low price point for some excellent Rioja...our choice of 'vinho tinto'!! The other surprise was the suburbian centre of Majadohandra. The Hotel Majadohonda was ideal for its cost, professionalism and cleanliness. No pool but the building was cool...especially with its garden atrium! Breakfast included we were ready for Madrid! (20 minutes Uber, cab and Cabify...NB: check & compare the cost as cabs are often just as cheap if not cheaper than e-taxi fares!!). Majadohonda has a wonderful street in the centre with many many cafes, tapas spots and beer & wine for cooling. Lovely bonus to relax on non-Madrid days! Lots done in a short time but very very worth it! hasta luego!
