  The location just off Gran Via is superb, but by far the only positive.Check in is behind a big plastic window with a small hole cut in it, makes it seem like the place is a by the hour hotel in a seedy red light area.I had a twin room. Hard beds, 1 pillow per bed, 1 itchy wool blanket. No TV, No working wifi, No Temperature control. Nothing provided for the bathroom, even the soap dispenser glued to the shower wall was empty.There are hundreds of these cheapish hostals around Gran Via, stay in a different one.

  Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless they wanted spend several sleepless nights due to the noise.Paper thin walls, broken shelves, nasty smell in the hallways…yet they charge hotel prices for a private room.The “breakfast” is cereal and toast with butter…

  False photos and no hot water

  To start off the photos are completely false. None of the rooms or the reception look like the pictures. Also, during my stay we had a problem with the water. The water was cold when we arrived and we went to the reception to solve the issue and we were told the problem would be solved. It wasn't so we went the next day and kept on asking. It wasn't resolved until the day we left and so, we filled a complaint which we doubt they even looked at.

  I'm writting in english in order to reach the maximum number of people. We arrived on Sunday. Location superb, comodities way lower than you can expect from the pictures, but we thought «we'll be needing this just for a bath a good nights' sleep»; Monday morning, bite marks on our bodies...weird, but, once again, we thought «we'll not allow a mosquito to ruin our vacations!». The week went by, we left really early in the morning and arrived late to rest, so we didn't mind the extra small room with no cabinet of any kind to store our things or the two army - like beds with thin matresses. By the way, the marks continued to sting, they're still visible and, as it turned out....it was not a mosquito!On Friday morning, we killed two more bugs, one of them filled with blood; we took pictures and identified it as a bedbug. Well, as you may have heard, bedbugs are very keen on matresses with lack of higiene; in fact, it is not common at all to hear about bedbugs in this century as the matresses are no longer made of straw! We tried to stay calm, went to the reception, explained what was going on and we were promissed a full clean-up, an exchange of bed clothes, etc etc. We arrived late that day and asked about the state of the room; they assured us that it had all been taken care of. Well, as we were preparing to take a bath, more bugs went strolling around the beds! More pictures were taken, we called the employee (who saw and took pictures of the happy bug herself) and there was nothing to do: no compensation, no other matresses to change, no other room, nothing! It was around 1 am that we were strolling around the city trying to find a room. We ended up paying for some hours about 1/4 of the other staying. We called Booking Customer Service, we sent messages, the all works and we're now home still waiting for an aswer from Booking and from the so-called hostel.

  Terrible service at front desk just hung the phone up on me as I was talking I am in Spain seeking asylum and humanitarian protection from the American government and of constantly under attack and so I frequently get harassed in hotels but never before I get there
