    Nice hotel in quiet area

    Thus is a nice, small hotel I a relatively quiet area. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and good metro connections. The staff were efficient and friendly and the room clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay.     Lack of soundproofing between rooms …

    Hotel was the level you’d expect from NH brand. Really helpful staff on reception. Very clean room and bathroom. Let down by lack of soundproofing between rooms. Person in neighbouring room could be heard loudly and clearly whilst talking to companion and also whilst making phone calls. Early morning & late at night!     Poor quality of customer support answer (to say the least)

    Hello,I made a reservation on 12/8/2025.30 minutes later, I had to request a cancellation because my business trip had to be cancelled for reasons behind my control.Although my booking did not foresee any refund in case of cancellation, I sent a short message explaining the reasons for this request for cancellation and asking the hotel kindly if they could do something (refund, voucher...).I got a rather laconic answer that held in two words: "Request declined".I didn't stay at the place.I didn't have a right for a refund.I reached out to them explaining the situation.I was not expecting much... so I'm not unhappy because the request was declined.I'm unhappy because of the way they answered me.This is bad customer service... again an example of "enshitifcation".Hence, one star.Period.Jean-Marie NH Chamberí, Guest Services / Front Office at NH Madrid Chamberi, responded to this review Dear Jean-Marie,Your feedback is truly appreciated, and we regret to hear about the unfortunate circumstances that led to your reservation cancellation.
