Location

    Credit cards stolen !! Staff entered room - Ignoring sign on door.

    NO - STOP - DO NOT VISITI stayed at this hotel for several days, so did many of my friends from work. Four credit cards were STOLEN from INSIDE my bedroom while I was eating breakfast. The DND (do not disturb) sign was on my door that day, but the staff still entered. In fact they came into my room two times in 8 minutes (this information was given to me by the hotel, when they examined the electronic door lock). The information clearly showed that a hotel staff member entered my room at 815am and 823am. Five other friends of mine ALSO had credit cards STOLEN from inside their bedrooms !The hotel mananger did not handle the case well.

    NH Hotels rarely disappoints You, nor did this one

    We stayed 3 nights in NH Madrid Paseo de la Habana with my son. The hotel exceeded my expectations in all levels. Everything worked well. The room was ok, AC does not give cold air during spring (temp was 24 inside so a tad too warm for this Nordic guy, well kept the window open). Staff was friendly, spoke English well, breakfast great and they also were flexible with few of my requests. They have even a rather new gym (tiny though) with Indoor Bike with video possib (Technogym), which I appreciated a lot since I am an avid cyclist. 600 m from Bernabeu, so RM match was very easy drill. Supermarket close by, clean environment and safe feeling with a 10 year old son. I loved it.     Great hotel, clean and super friendly. The location is perfect for quick access to the city, Feria De Madrid and the Airport and withing a 5 minute walk to the Benabeu Stadium.

    Unfortunately I am very disappointed with this last time I visited the hotel. It used to be tidy and quiet but this time under the tables we found a lot of used chewing gums. It was awful, but worse: after 3 days requesting from us to remove them when we left the hotel they were still there.
