    Perfect MAD Layover Hotel

    Confusion on the name change from Pullman (which is what I booked and received confirmation of) an actual Novotel. Not corrected ever until arrival even via confirmation email two days before. Seems an unprofessional way of handling brand change.The hotel however is fine. Three stops from T4 and one stop from T1,2,3. A short walk. Very very quiet area, super quiet rooms. El Cortes Ingles nearby and well served by taxi and Cabify, Uber etc. It is quick metro to Chamartin with one change, and reasonable distance from city centre. Rooms are well laid out and I preferred the small table over a desk. The Deluxe Building is newly renovated (or appeared to be completed). Very comfortable 4* for the price, but it is not a Pullman property.Very pleasant staff I must add, especially housekeeping. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stopover in Madrid or a short working holiday, I needed to sleep at 20:00 to be awake in time for a meeting. Would not have been possible in many hotels. For longer stays or for pleasure, I might want to be closer to the centre.

    Ideal hotel close to airport and IFEMA Madrid

    We booked 3 rooms and stayed here for 4 days with family .This hotel is located within walking distance offing distance from IFEMA Madrid and metro station . Multiple taxi options available through uber and other apps . The beauty is local taxis are easily available just beside the hotel stop .This hotel is ideal for family and travellers who want to stay close to the airport or the IFEMA Madrid convention centre .For tourist the city centre is little far but early accessible through taxis and metro and even bus .The rooms are decent sized with all necessary things . The room service for food is non existent . However Room service for any issues is prompt . the cleaning staff are very courteous and helpful; The reception is manned by young people (girls) and are helpful , however the check in is little longer and tedious . There is a restaurant which serves breakfast and ll meals . It has limited vegetarian options but is excellent .The swimming pool is fantastic The break fast menu is extensive and all staff are courteous . Special mention of staff GISELLE who went out of the way to makes us comfortable especially elder members in our family during the meals .Lunch and dinner menu is adequate The other food options are easily available through online apps (uber eats,glovo etc) so it's very comfortable and varied options .The pullman hotel is also managed by same team and is in one compound only .So both Novotel and pullman I would recommend for guestsMultiple restaurants with laid back atmosphere are close by with a shopping mall and mac-d close by The area around the hotels are ideal for a relaxed evening and morning walk.Thank you

    The hotel was clean and tidy, staff were helpful and pleasant. Room was a little small and windows very dirty. We also had a loose tile in bathroom apart from that nothing to complain about. Would stay again breakfast was good and on for good length of time 7-11 am.

    Very convenient for the IFEMA convention center, easy metro into town, great proximity to fantastic park. Too bad when you travel solo they put you in their shabbiest room, nothing like the photos! And shoulder season meant no AC despite sun pouring into room all day. Too hot. Thankfully, the window opened, loved the little fridge and kettle. REALLY appreciated early morning check in off a flight from Canada. Nice breakfast.

    Only a short overnight stay. First, why offer online check in only to be required to do everything again on arrival. Serving low quality Cruz Campo on draft at high prices should be a crime. Breakfast opens late, I know it’s Spain but with the hotel being near the airport, an earlier option would be nice. Expensive hotel for average services.
