  Great stay in slick clean hotel

  I selected the hotel because of the gym facilities and the location. It was in a really good location for me and the gym allowed me to keep up my routine while away.The room and bed were really high quality and felt very new.   Ok hotel, nice staff

  All the staff were great, couldn’t do enough for us. Hotel was smart and modern, clean and well organised.The location was fairly central but realistically, a car or taxi was necessary to reach anything, although metro and bus services were also an option.There were no restaurants open in the immediate area and for some reason the bar and restaurant in the hotel were closed in the evenings.The breakfast was good but at €17 per person, it felt expensive. 100 metres away there is a breakfast cafe that offers a buffet breakfast for €9.50. This would probably be a better bet.There was an advertised offer for €5 per night credit to spend in the hotel, if we didn’t need the room cleaned each day. With a 2 night stay, of course we took advantage of this offer, but with no bar or restaurant open, our options were 10 bottles of water or take €10 worth from the mini bar, so in the end, we just left it.The car parking under the hotel was €20 per day, but we had a special deal of €15 per night. Not terrible, but should be included in the cost of the room.Beds were comfortable, no views and a slippery bath with shower, but a good sized room.Overall, the hotel was good but nothing special. The staff were all very nice, but I probably would look for another option next time I’m in town.   It was my first visit to Madrid and I am amaized what a beautiful city.The hotel is located very near to the IT company were I participated.At the hotel reception everybody was very kind and I got all the informations I need.The room was cosy, warm and clean.This visit just open my appetite to come back and vist again Madrid.

  I stayed at Occidental for two nights. I was greeted with a warm, cosy crystal clean room.The breakfast buffet was rich and you can also have eggs, omelette a la carte.Loved the freshly squeezed orange juice.I would definitely recommend it for business trip. The only downside is the location as it is far from the center.

  Nice hotel, the overall stay was good, the breakfast was also very good as the staff too. The only problem is the wifi that wasn't that stable as also the cleanliness of the bedroom. Also the bed was just two camp beds with a mattress above them. The good thing was that the mattress was very good.
