  Amazing shower!!!

  The hotel is very well located in a buzzing area of town. Obviously the Prado is on your doorstep.The rooms are basic but spacious with high level of cleanliness. It is very quiet. Could do with a lick of paint in places in the room.The highlight for me was the shower which may well be the best I’ve ever had! Cascades of water.There is no breakfast facility but you really don’t need it here with so much in your doorstep.   Air conditioning was not working properly

  Prior to checking in to the hotel had emailed them several times and they were very responsive.Overall, the staff was very helpful. however I had to have someone come up to check the air conditioning four times during our stay as it did not seem to be working. The first time someone from the front desk came up and said the timer needed to be reset so she did that and showed me how to do it and it was fine for a while . The next night it was so hot in the room that we were literally dripping wet. Again someone came up she said maybe the filter needed to be changed and she flipped the switch in the fuse box. A few times hit the reset button again and said it would take about a half hour to get running again. This took place around midnight I had opened the window to our small balcony to try to get a breeze. During our entire stay, there was Construction in front of the hotel even at night, so it was very noisy. in addition there were loud people walking back-and-forth in the wee hours of the morning. Finally, the last time I talked to one of the staff members and said the air conditioning is not working they said every time you take the room card out of the little slot, the a:c shuts off and You have to reset the unit. Had they said that the first time I would’ve left the card in the slot even when we were out of the room.Every time one of the staff came up upon my request to see why it wasn’t working, they insisted that it was working, and that unit doesn’t make any noise, but it was working. It felt like I was being gaslighted.It was so hot in the room that I didn’t know how I was going to get any sleep.   Centric hotel in Madrid

  I book this hotel every time I travel to Madrid, the location is excellent.   Central location clean and bright

  Fantastic hotel very central and close to all the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room had a terrace and was clean and bright with a giant TV.   Excellent budget hotel option

  This is a great budget hotel option! Great location, friendly staff, rooms are so quiet! Bed very clean and comfortable, bathroom very clean with a great rain showerhead. There is tea/coffee on each floor. The room was a bit banged up but it was not a deal breaker. I would definitely stay there again, clean and close to everything. I stayed with a friend who has been there 5 times and continues to return.
