  Design, location and a very fresh air

  My stay at the One Shot Recoletos was a very pleasant surprise. It is one of those hotels that, as soon as you enter, convey that everything is thought out with intention: clean lines, manicured spaces and a modern style that does not try to impress, but works well.The location is certainly one of its great strengths. You are a short walk from Recoletos, Castellana, Retiro and some of the best places to walk or eat in Madrid. Perfect whether you’re going for work or want to get around the city without hassle.The design of the hotel is another success. Minimalist, elegant and with that artistic touch that characterizes the chain. Nothing overloaded, nothing out of place. Nice to be in a place that looks good and feels good.It is also a relatively new or very well maintained hotel. Clean rooms, impeccable bathrooms and that feeling of freshness that you don’t always find in hotels of similar category in Madrid.If I had to put a but on it, I would say that some services could be a little more complete to round off the experience, but nothing that mars the stay.In short, a modern, comfortable and very well located hotel, ideal to enjoy Madrid without complications.   Room 201, which is.a suite.mayor, very noisy next to the central wooden staircase of the hotel.Since the 201 is facing the street, it should also have a better acoustic seal.   Favorite hotel in Madrid

  I travel from New York to Madrid several times per year and I've stayed at OneShot Recoletos many times. The location of the hotel is ideal - in Salamanca neighborhood but only 10 min walk to Sol or Museums. Very close to several metro stops as well. If you are coming from Barajas the airport bus stop is only about a 5 min walk, although I usually take an Uber if I have luggage. Front desk staff are very friendly and accommodating; special thanks to Beatriz and Alice for helping with a few items during this last trip.   Great hotel, shame about the staff

  Great location , large room, comfy bed and pillow. Shame about how rude are some of the staff. I ask to pickup the luggage which was given before the check in and literally the young Receptionst rolled her eyes in my face. Just Wow . Breakfast closed at 11 am . My friend ask for a coffe at 11am nothing else and they refused . My other friend was told to finish their breakfast fast since it was 11.10am and they had to clean . Shame for a 4 star hotel.   Lovely quiet hotel

  Quiet hotel located in the perfect neighborhood.. close to so many places in the heart of Madrid or just a short metro ride away. The continental breakfast was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Get a room with a balcony, we had lovely views of the street. We will definitely stay here again.
