    Perfect stay for a young Ronaldo fan!

    Have stayed in both the balcony terrace and the amazing cr7 suite with my son before playing football here and we both thoroughly enjoy our stay. The hotel is lovely, staff very helpful and friendly. Location is fantastic and of course the cr7 memorabilia is an absolute hit with my 8 year old son, directly next to the Real Madrid shop. Makes his time here playing football feel even more special and right on theme :) Will most definitely be staying again.     When is an upgrade, not an upgrade.........

    Arrival at reception was fine, all a bit slow, given an upgrade of room from premium to a room with a balcony, which on face value would have been good, but the room had two single beds (with single bed linen) rather than the king bed room I had booked, so asked to be moved to this type of room I had booked but told none were available. Upgraded room got worse, balcony was so small it was usable and if you could the 24 hour street noise (four lane busy road) would have made it hardly relaxing and also that noise even 7th floors up made impossible to sleep well in room. Air conditioning also ineffective as was the cleaning of the rooms. Roof top bar only open at the weekend but there is a 9th bar, but service at both bars very slow. Last niggle, but really annoying, the cleaning team had a habit of closing off at least one of the two lifts (which is not enough) to give them a clean a peak traffic times making the wait often five minutes plus. Hotel is a very modern inside, amenities OK and the location is very central, but in this disadvantage if you take the noise into account. I am truly sorry to read that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the room allocation, the noise levels and the overall comfort of the experience.I understand your disappointment regarding the bedding setup. In our hotel, reservations are made by room category rather than by bed type, and bed preferences are always subject to availability, especially during periods of high occupancy. Even so, we always do our best to accommodate these requests whenever possible. Our twin rooms can also be prepared together or separately depending on the guest’s needs, and I regret that in this case the final room arrangement did not feel satisfactory for you.Regarding the balcony room, I also understand your comments about the street noise. Being located on Gran Vía, one of the city’s main avenues, means that some outward-facing rooms are more exposed to the energy and rhythm of Madrid, which may not suit every guest, especially when rest and quiet are a priority.I also regret the inconvenience caused by the air conditioning, the room cleaning, the waiting times at the bars and the lift situation during busy moments of the day. In addition, I would like to clarify that our rooftop on the 10th floor operates seasonally and depends largely on weather conditions, as it is a fully open-air space.Thank you again for sharing your impressions so clearly.     Got to experience the sunset looking out over Madrid. It was amazing and the Bar staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. My husband and I will always remember it!
