    Great room , spacious en very clean, everyday new pillows covers. Staff exceptional friendly and helpful. Good variety of food for breakfast. Restaurant for lunch or dinner great. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Comfortable clean and bright room. Location in La Latina neighborhood is a foodies delight! Wonderful day staff - friendly and helpful. We loved that our room looked onto the street, which was busy until the wee hours of the morning. We would return!

    We could not have been more delighted with the Posada del Dragon hotel for our 4nt stay in Madrid. The location is simply perfect, smack bang in the middle of the most amazing street for tapas bars and restaurants!! And - within walking distance of most Madrid attractions and railway station. Our room had the most iconic balcony overlooking the street, with the added luxury of double glazing and interior and exterior shutters so no matter how hard they were partying outside, our room was an oasis of peace!! The rooms have a funky modern vibe in the very old building - redolent with history and stories. The bed was so comfortable and the shower large and with great water pressure. Leo on reception, and all the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and provided useful information and amazing customer service. Then in-house tapas bar and restaurant are great. This place really enhanced our stay in Madrid 😁

    Location of the hotel is perfect, close to some great small restaurants. The staff are also on hand to help at all times and explained everything well. We never went to the bar/restaurant downstairs, however, the decor looked great (high-end) and the reviews of the food are good.This hotel should not be classed as 4-star at all, we've stayed in 3-star hotels that are far better than this. In my opinion, this would be at the most a middle 2-star hotel with a nice looking bar/restaurant. The bedroom decor is vile, it has some weird astro turf style flooring which smells of mould. There was a constant smell of sewage throughout the room and the room overall just felt more like a hostel vibe and are dark.There is nothing in the room apart from a double bed (not comfy), cheap horrible bedding, early 2010s TV and not much else. There's no kettle, no mini bar, nothing!It feels like a hostel at best and the bar/restaurant is the main focus and the 'hotel' is a bolt on that isn't looked after or pushed to the back of the minds.We had a corner room on the first floor, there was noise as they allow customers of the restaurants to sit in the interior terrace but this soon stopped around 12AM. We stayed on a Wednesday & Thursday, so I imagine there would be much more noise on the weekend.

    My stay was wonderful. I was looking for a boutique style hotel, in a historic part of Madrid that when I stepped out onto the street I’d be amongst restaurants - tapas, casual, fine dining, late night drinks, coffee houses, - with easy access to the Metro and I had all of that here. Cava Baja - the street I was on was a destination of its own for all entertainment and dining options. And I took full advantage. And the room was very comfortable, the staff were so helpful and fortunately for me many were fluent in English as well. I’d go back again tomorrow. And did I forget to mention Madrid is amazing.
