Location

With an incredible location just steps from the Museo del Prado (100 metres) and next to the Caixa Forum Madrid cultural centre, this hotel is the embodiment of culture and sophistication in Madrid's artistic Golden Triangle. It lies 200 metres from the nearest metro station and 400 metres from the Corte Ingles department store. Atocha train station is 500 metres and Madrid Airport is 14 km away.

Facility

54 rooms, including 6 suites, 4 single rooms and 28 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available.     As a hotel is amazing, the staff is super friendly and efficient. The room pefect. The only “but” it’s the experience at the “Petite Chef” I have been in other experiences and this was very underwhelming. The video show very simple and the food very average.     The quality of the staff is exceptional. There is always somebody to help you with a smile. You are not just a customer, you feel like you are part of the Radisson Family. Plus the hotel has a perfect location, across the Prado, and next to the Thyssen and Reina Sofia museums. The metro is up the street. The room is very comfortable, clean and quiet. I will go back every year to Madrid just to go to this hotel.     Superb location, limited facilities, has potential for comfort

    The hotel is in a superb location, just opposite the Botanical Gardens and the Prado museum. It is a 10 minute walk to the historical centre, and there are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the area.The hotel itself is compact - the rooms are fairly spacious, but the breakfast area is cosy, There is some form of spar, but it needs to be reserved and paid for, making it a public offering rather than a hotel facility.The reception staff were superb - both welcoming and professional. The cleaning staff were also faultless.During my visit in the Spring of 2026 there appeared to be widespread irregularities with the ventilation system, with some of my colleagues having a cold room, whereas others (including myself) a stuffy and hot room, with the thermostats being apparently divorced from both the ventilation system and reality. Given it was still cool at night in April, those of us with external windows could leave them open - but at the expense of noise. In high Summer I would imagine it will become much harder to manage.Assuming they get past these maintenance problems, this hotel would make a good base of operations for exploring the area!
