Location

This hotel is located in the centre of Madrid, only a few metres from Puerta del Sol Square. From the hotel it is approximately 18 km to Madrid airport.

Facility

180 non-smoking rooms are available to guests in a 6-storey main building and an auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected.     Great Stay at Hotel Regina

    This is a wonderful location. It may take a moment to find the entrance as it is in between a couple of buildings. But it is worth it. It is in the "fancy" district which is a 5-10 minute walk to the historic areas. The employees were great and very helpful. We booked a suite and it was ready for us when we arrived at 10 AM. The suite was modern, clean and comfortable.     The hotel is clean with modern, elegant rooms, and the staff are kind, conscientious, and very helpful. In terms of location, this hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to many fantastic restaurants and prime shopping. Given that it is in such a popular location, I expected noise to filter in from outside. What I did not expect was paper thin walls and to wake up nearly every night of my 6-night stay to people talking loudly or at times shouting outside my door from INSIDE the hotel. I also have to note that the power inexplicably went out in my hotel room two evenings in a row. There was absolutely no bad weather to explain this. The first time it happened, the power shut off for about 9 hours. The second time it happened, it took over an hour to return, and I had to pack my suitcase (for my early morning flight the next day) by the flashlight app on my phone. I have never stayed in a hotel that lost power in the absence of a storm or a city-wide blackout, and especially not for two nights in a row.     Nice but noisy

    It’s a lovely hotel - very modern with nice amenities and very clean. Great location across the street from the four seasons (great rooftop bar) and very close to plaza mayor but away from the craziness. My only complaint was the noise. Not from the outside but from the staff inside. We arrived jet lagged and tired and had booked a corner suite. Housekeeping and staff continuously over 2 days would have conversations outside our room or shout to each other (we were around the corner from a stairwell on the second floor). We did speak to the desk but just was told I’mSorry. Over a 2 night stay the situation did not improve. We were trying to rest during the day but they should not assume people are not in their rooms during the day. The rooftop was a nice place to escape though!

    This is a lovely hotel, very clean and the staff could not do enough for us. Our room was beautiful and the amenities were well thought out ie sockets where you need them.
