  Disappointing experience and non existent customer care

  I had a very disappointing experience at Roisa Hostal Boutique during my stay from December 18-19, 2024. The floor we were staying on was under construction, leading to an incredibly noisy afternoon, dusty floors, and non-functional bathroom lights. These conditions made it impossible to relax or enjoy the stay.To make matters worse, the hostal’s customer service has been completely unresponsive to my concerns. Despite reaching out to request a refund due to these unacceptable conditions, I have received no acknowledgment or resolution.For a place that markets itself as a boutique hostal, I expected much higher standards both in terms of accommodations and client care. I cannot recommend staying here based on my experience.   Recommendation for this accommodation. Friendly staff both at the reception and the maids. Clean. We also had a room where we left our luggage for the whole day after check-out.The location is close to the stadium, which is a big advantage.   Excellent stay, close to metro and great spots

  This was an excellent place to stay, the rooms are decent size, clean, beds were comfortable, ac was working well. We had booked 3 weeks in advance and we still managed to get a decent price for 3 night, if you can book earlier, you can avail of great deals. The hostal is close to the Metro stop 'Columbia' and the streets leading up to it has lovely little restaurants, cafés especially the El Horno café which was excellent, there is also a Carrefour thats open till late. It is well connected to all the main spots in Madrid by bus or metro. Christian from the staff was very sweet and accommodating- we had quite an early flight in and we just came to deposit the bags- but he let us check in early when usually one has to pay for it. All in all, great location, comfortable rooms, 20 mins away from the main spots yet near to the city center and Santiago Bernabeau stadium. Totally recommended!   Very nice place to stay

  The accommodation is really great for the value - I was positively surprised. It has very good location - just in front of the bus stop that you can easily reach the city center and on a 5 min walking distance from the Metro station Colombia.Rooms are new, very clean, stylish and spacious, bathroom is big enough, the room had a big balcony to the inner yard (not noisy). Internet connection is more than perfect. Room was cleaned every day.The reception is 24/7 and very friendly The windows are soundproof but unfortunately the walls are not - they are rather thin so you ca hear every little and not so little noise from the corridor or next room (or maybe because the bed was just next to the corridor wall).   Awful experience

  The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was excessively hot. The air conditioning unit did not report the correct temperature. The room was not sound-proofed (although they are advertised as such), and did not have effective double glazing (the road outside is very noisy). The single joined balcony along the entire first floor means the sliding glass door cannot be left open. The towels had traces of make-up on them. The staff were polite but utterly ineffective. Water to the shower in room 1 took over 5 minutes to heat up (this is a known problem apparently, but the staff did not have the courtesy to inform me until I complained about the lack of hot water). Beyond TV (all Spanish channels) and wifi, there are no other amenities in the rooms whatsoever. I cannot recommend this hotel, especially at the prices I was charged.
