  Very good/central location. Staff friendly. 4 bed (2 bunk) room was well equipped. Only comments would be on the metal sink in the bedroom (noisy and push button) and the very short push button on the shower. Beds v comfortable and linen goodPublic areas looked goodBreakfast just about OK but good valueNoisy on the main street at night - this is very central so swings and roundabouts..

  My stay at the hostel was horrible! First day I got bites from bed insects, and last day my stuff was stolen from inside my locker! The hostel refused to do anything to help and hold responsibility for the theft. And because of my insistence, it took the hostel the hostel until the next morning, when I only had a couple of hours before heading to the airport, to be responsible and call the police! There were two thefts in the same room that night, because the lockers are really bad and weak and can be easily opened! Yet when the police came said they can’t do a legal complaint because I was leaving the country!!! The hostel is not safe and also doesn't take responsibility for such major incidents

  Good location in the city centre. Private room with bathroom was a good size and we got a little terrace ansd sofa. We got it at a very good price comparing to other hotels in Madrid. Plenty restuarants all around. Close to the metro. They have a little bar downstairs with 2 for 1 drinks if you are a guest and show them your key.There was only one flat pillow per guest so sleeping wasnt very comfortable. Mattress could be better as we could feel the springs.

  I don't even know where to start. I've booked a bed in a 8 mixed bed dorm, I got a bed but I was the only girl in the room wich, ti say the least, made things weird. The bed was clean and comfortable - the only clean thing in the hotel. The 8 bed dormitory had a fan that was not working so on the 6th of August with nearly 40°C outside and 8 peopple in the same room ...you would just boil - i did not find this human at all. The other thing that was very unhuman was that the room had only 1 toilette and 1 shower. There was no other shared toilet on the hallway. The shower was clogged most of the time so you basically had to lie with your feet in the water that everybody has used before you- absolutely disgusting.The one and only toilet has a big gap under the door so it was like you were pissing and pooping in front of everybody else in the room. Both the shower and the toilette did not have a fan. The people at the reception were not friendly and it took them about 25 minutes to check me in and give me a key which is outrageousI asked for a bottle of water as they have a leaflet at reception saying they have bottles of watter, coffee & tea. I waited for about 10 minutes because the guy at the reception was busy talking to someone else so i asked again and the he said they're out of water and gave me a little glas of tap watter instead.The card to open the door keep deactivating itself so every time I'd just have to go back to reception and wait for the people bahind the desk to finish their important conversation before haveing the card reactivated. At checkout you just wait to get back your 5 euro for the key, similar with stone age only they have a safe box, so the person bahind the desk just scrolls through envelopes till she/he finds the one that has your name written on it. I don't need to get my exact money back, just the 5 euro. The wifi works fine.Overall I really do not recommend the place.

  If you are going to book in this establishment, think twice. We are still awaiting a response from you to a cancellation due to health restrictions in March 2020 (in fact, the establishment was closed!!). They have NOT offered us a refund nor have they responded to the multiple emails and certified letters sent from the OCU. When we have called the phone number that appears on their page, they answer us at reception saying that they are not in charge of these procedures and that we send an email to the address they provide (emails that never respond). In short, I do not recommend this option: terrible management of cancellations!
