    Consider another hotel!

    rating03 May 2026

Very very disappointed about my experience at the Embassy Suites Blue Ash Ohio. It was a simple staycation for us. Room was okay although the bed was not a crisp look when we arrived. We selected this hotel to have the made to order breakfast, pool, and nice atmosphere. It's NOT as advertised on their website as well as on phone announcement while you wait on hold. No made to order breakfast, pool closed until June 2026. Breakfast was definitely subpar. No omelette station. Before we left there was a knock at the door with no announcement of who it was, and within 3 seconds the door opened. No apologies, just closed the door. To pay just north of $200, it was quite disappointing. Would not recommend at all.

I am shocked. Subpar for Hilton quality. We are in the second night of a four night stay and I am beyond disgusted. We came here with a marching band and got about 20 rooms. I was given the key to a room that was occupied by another person. Literally walked into their room. So embarrassing. When we arrived to our second room, the bed was slept in. Not even made. We had to get a third room. Our other band director arrived to their room and there were dead gnats on the bedspread. They got another room as well. In their new room, the dining room chair had chocolate smeared all over the fabric. The staff brought a new chair. Our shower had small black hairs on the walls. The students were 5 kids to a room. The rooms were never serviced the next day. None of these kids could shower at night. When I called, the man said “there is a towel shortage”. I said why wasn’t any trash removed from the rooms. He had no answer. A parent went down stairs to complain about the cleanliness of their role and asked when it would be tended to and the manager, Jacob, stated, “We’ll get to it when we get to it.” Is this for real? I pulled out the pullout couch tonight, as our daughter drove in for the competition. There were crumbs and larger pieces of food on the mattress. She chose to sleep on an air mattress on the floor instead. When she removed the spare sheets from the closet, there were small black hairs on the sheets. Were they even washed? I called for more clan sheets. They NEVER came. Had to go downstairs and get them ourselves. NO THANKS!!!! I’ll stick with Marriott next time. We are done with Hiltons.

horrible experience paid $239 for a bad nights stay

    rating12 Apr 2026

Very disappointing experience. I arrived after 9 PM with my 14-year-old daughter after a 5-hour drive, only to discover the hotel was undergoing a full interior renovation, something that was never disclosed when booking. We both have allergies, and the construction dust made it difficult to breathe. Our first room had clearly been used, with disturbed sheets and pillows. We requested to leave, but at that hour there were no other hotels available nearby, and as a parent traveling alone with my daughter, I didn’t feel safe driving further in an unfamiliar area. We were moved to another room, but it still wasn’t clean, my daughter ended up with white dust all over her clothes just from sitting on the floor, and the fitted sheet didn’t even fit the bed.We were also woken up at 5:23 AM by a front desk text message, and the TV in the sitting area didn’t work.Overall, this stay was far below acceptable standards. Between the undisclosed renovation, cleanliness issues, and lack of consideration for guests, I would not recommend staying here, especially for families or anyone with allergies.

    Worst Hilton ever, STAY AWAY

    rating14 Mar 2026

THIS IS THE WRITE UP I SENT TO HILTON.This was the absolute worst HILTON we have ever stayed in. Not only was it NOT disclosed that the hotel was under MAJOR renovations before or during the reservation process, by the way, it still is not advertised as under renovation. When we noticed around 7 pm that our room had no hot water at either of the sinks nor the shower and that the bathroom sink would not drain, we reported it immediately to the front desk. Two hours later went to room to check and still had no hot water and the sink still didn’t drain. Went back to front desk, asked for manager and reported this again. He guaranteed that it would be fixed within 40 minutes. At 11 pm went back to room and the drain still didn’t drain but had hot water. Only issue was that to get hot water, you had to turn on the cold water. And if you wanted cold water, you had to turn on the hot water. How could a hotel, especially a HILTON brand and Embassy Suites at that, have such horrible staff that no cleaning staff reported the issue about the water or drain, no repair staff could fix it and that the manager didn’t know about it and when confronted, still couldn’t get it fixed within 3 hours time? That was just the water issue. Back to the renovations, just absolutely horrible and extremely unprofessional to remain open during this extent of renovations. I am still suffering from allergy issues due to all the construction and drywall dust. Everywhere you looked there was construction dust. It was so bad you could smell it. When I blow my nose, it comes out. The furniture had construction dust on it. The dust was everywhere. You know it’s bad when you lay down to sleep and all you smell is construction dust. You should’ve at minimum shut down half the hotel and completely sealed it off so the dust wouldn’t contaminate the entire hotel. But instead, greed took over and you remained completely open despite the health risks, the safety risks and the major inconvenience it posed. I doubt that legally you’re able to serve food with the construction not sealed off, we’ll let the health department deal with that issue. Let’s get back to the fact the construction was never disclosed. With the amount of construction remaining to be completed, why aren’t you disclosing it? All your website says is the pool is closed for construction. No mention that half of the first floor is under construction, entire 2nd floor closed for construction, outside areas closed for construction, etc. This is a MAJOR renovation, one that the hotel should have closed for for health and safety reasons. It is absolutely so unprofessional this is how you treat your guests, your customers. Do you think you have a chance of XYZ Company coming back next year after how you treated all of us and mislead us? And when we complain about it, all we get is a I’m sorry with a less than half serious tone. It is obvious you do not respect your guests or customers. All pictures attached are from 3-13, 3-14 and from the hotel website.
