    Terrific location. Clean and secure. Pros: great location in the center of city, reasonable price, friendly staff, across from police station, comfortable bed. Cons: very small room, no desk, shower is complicated with too many options- wear slippers in shower, towels need updating, be ready for some steps

    We came from Tallinn, Estonia and stayed here for 4 nights. We enjoyed our stay here. It was good value for money. The room was relatively small but comfortable and rationally furnished. We noticed no traffic noise. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hostal itself is centrally located, less than 10 minutes drive by bus from Plaza de Cibeles where Airport Express stop.

    Enjoyed my stay here. Location is just off the Grand Via. Their is a communal entrance from the square. There is a small lift available. The room was small but adequate for my needs, after all I was there to explore the city and not stay in the room. It was clean, WiFi worked, bed was comfortable. I was situated around the rear if the property but the larger rooms overlooked the square. Highlight was the shower (in the room) powerful with various settings. Reception were efficient. If you want a reasonable priced room when exploring the city, I recommend.Please click helpful if you found this review useful

    Clean room, but strong sewer smell in the bathroom and room

    Clean room, small, but has everything you'll need: little tv, kettle, clean sheets and comfy bed, toilet, shower cabin and bathroom sinks. Everything is great except for a strong intoxicating smell of sewage in the bathroom and the room. It gave me so much headache, I could not sleep all night. The shower cabin also has a weird shower jet system.Overall, it's a good value if you want to inhale toxic fumes for as long as you are in your room. I could not spend more than one night there.

    Great value for money. Check in easy. Not suitable for those with mobility issues as it is up several flights of stairs. I didn’t see a lift. Room was basic with separate shower and toilet. The shower cubicle could do with some updating and better floor/curtain but the actual shower was amazing!Would recommend for a short stay.
