Location

This conference hotel is located in the business district of Rivas Vacia, 18km from Madrid city centre. The nearest bus stop is 500 m away and from there countless bars, restaurants and shopping opportunities can be reached in a couple of minutes. The train station is about 2 km away and it is 20 km to the airport. The hotel offers a good link to the A3.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 84 single rooms and 84 double rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     Very good hotel, Rooms are is very comfortable, WiFi. Excellent, Helpful staff ,Hotel location is near shopping mall with free parking, the staffs are nice and breakfast is good.     We were 2 pairs of adults and we have stayed at Sercotel Rivas AB at the end of May 24. The hotel is situated in the calm area, not far away from the shopping center. It is situated about 5-7 minutes walk from the metro station Rivas Futura. Very calm area, especially at night. The hotel rooms are smartly and neatly organized, are clean, the beds are comfortable. We heard no sound from the rooms near us or outside. The aircondition is directly in the room. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are very good, the variety of different food is per expectation. All in all we were glad we chose this hotel for our visit of Madrid as the price rate and the service level are fantastic. We will surely choose some hotel from the network if the occasion comes.     Very clean, staff very friendly,bed very comfortable. Nice pillows the only thing I didn't like was the bathroom toilet, it's in glass and there's a huge gap between the wall and the door so you can listen literally everything. The breakfast is a little expensive. You have coffee shops 5m from the hotel.     No Flexible Cancellations- No Money Refund- No Changes

    They do NOT refund the money, do NOT make changes, do NOT accept modifications, and the hotel makes NO exceptions. Our flight was canceled and despite explaining, sending an email, calling, sending a flight cancellation message, and speaking with management, even Booking called to explain and negotiate, their response was NO.The management did NOT want to help and kept the money for 2 rooms and even rented the room again.Our reservation was through Booking and even they tried to negotiate, but the hotel's response was NO. The representative was surprised, saying that in all the years she has been working, it is the first time a hotel hasn't even tried to negotiate a modification due to a force majeure situation.Even explaining and mentioning that we are long-time customers - they did NOT help us, nor did they give us any options.We do NOT recommend this hotel and hope they have the decency to read this review and at least offer an alternative to me and my family.I don't usually write negative reviews, but it has been very unfair of the hotel not to acknowledge that it wasn't our fault. If a flight is canceled, how do they expect us to arrive?After all, that's what hotels are for, to provide a reliable place to stay when you arrive from a trip. This hotel only gave us more frustration and stole the money for two rooms.
