    Hotel in ideal location for City Centre, staff on reception were friendly and helpful.Hotel rooms were clean but need to be painted to refresh walls, look dirty. Plug sockets, only found 2 in room under tv and they were not in good condition, sparks flew from one when plugging in phone charger. Mattress on bed was very hard, uncomfortable and back pain as a result 😞 But overall for location and value for money and cleanliness it was worth it for 3 nights to see wonderful Madrid

    Stayed at this hotel a couple of days and so glad I only booked 2 because the hotel is very old all furniture, elevators, covers, lamps, decorations are horrible,but the worst part is the bed there is no boxspring is just a thin board and the mattress was so old and hard you couldn’t literally see the bumps, I had the worst night of my life my back was hurting my shoulders there was no way to rest, and to put the cherry on top there was a hair BALL inside the sheets , the sink was clogged , very bad experience and my rate was $250.00 euros per night, what a way of robbing people! Never again !

    I am currently staying at the hotel and would like to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay has not met my expectations for several reasons:• Room Maintenance: The hotel appears outdated, and the rooms require significant upkeep. For instance, in my room, the air conditioning system does not work for heating during winter. The provided solution of an extra blanket was insufficient. Additionally, light from the hallway seeps through the bottom of the door at night, making it difficult to sleep.• Safety Concerns: Due to the room’s proximity to the stairs, I am unable to leave the window open as it compromises security.• Minibar Discrepancy: While my friend's room had a fully stocked minibar, mine did not even include a bottle of water.• Breakfast Quality: The breakfast offered was very basic and disappointing. There were no fresh vegetables, eggs, or even cappuccino available. Additionally, the dining area appears outdated and uninviting.So far, my stay is disappointing, and I believe improvements in these areas could significantly enhance the guest experience.

    I stayed here 4 nights. The staff was really nice and helpful. The location is just super, only 1 minute walk from Gran Via. The breakfast was just basic. Cons: The hotel really needs renovation, but it was very clean. Also, we had economy room, which was really cold in the end of september.

    A perfectly acceptable hotel just up from Gran Via and a short walk from many central areas.Quiet, clean rooms with a bit of space.Alas, no coffee maker in room; but there is a small bar fridge which is nice for purchases.Bed isn’t the most comfortable, but perfectly fine.Fairly good buffet breakfast (additional).Internet can be a bit spotty, but overall this is a decent enough place.Front desk staff friendly and helpful.
