  The hotel is located at 6 km from the city center but it is very well connected. There is at 250 mt the metro Prosperidad and you can easily go to the city center. About the hotel, it is very modern hotel, with new rooms, wonderful Breakfast, kind personnel who will help you and it is available for all request. It is very suggested if you want to visit Madrid and make sure to do the turistic pass for the metro (x4 days is something like 27 euro) and you have not to pay anything else for moving in Madrid. Enjoy your vacation in Uve Marcenado!!

  Very pleasantly surprised

  Simple hotel, yet very good and far better than many well-known chains. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice staff.The breakfast was good and reasonably priced.The room was well presented, CLEAN, and seemed recently renovated. The bathroom was also nice and had various amenities, which many other hotels nowadays don’t even provide.Only a few minor details could be improved, such as the very small bathroom bin (which tipped over when pressing the pedal) and the toilet paper holder, which was broken. Oh, and the room would also benefit from a wall hook or hanger near the entrance.I really enjoyed my stay.

  Lacks Upfront Communication About Water Issue

  If you’re paying $150 per night for this hotel, that’s reasonable. I, however, did not. I was charged nearly $400, and as a result, expected corresponding service. Instead, they chose to hide the true conditions from us until after checking us in. A bait and switch. At a $400 per night hotel, we would have been contacted earlier that day and told “the water does not work. The entire block is without water. Would you like to keep your room or get a full refund?”We found out far too late. As an afterthought. “Oh and the water doesn’t work. It should be on at 5pm. Oh actually 6pm. Oh, actually 10pm. Oh, actually 8pm.” How to ruin the last night of one’s trip 101. We could not shower. We could not wash our hands. We could not use the toilet—Actually, in the view of the hotel, this statement is false. According to the hotel, I could have defecated and then requested someone come up to my room to manually flush for me. Between their offer of a bottle of water, and the fact that there was a fruit convention in town, the hotel refused to provide a discount or credit. Not only did they ignore my initial email, but they promised to escalate my case (of course to never hear from them again.)I’m sure the hotel will attempt to reply to this review and claim that they provided me with constantly changing updates on the status of the water. Again, the first update should have been the second the problem occurred so that I could have planned to stay at a different hotel. The updates after the fact were only because we requested them (they were not offered) and only contributed to ruining our last day of vacation. In my research later that day, there were a couple options including a 5 star hotel for $500. So clearly, some hotels engage in price gouging and some don’t. Choose one that doesn’t. Choose one that treats their guests with immediate honesty and transparency. And to the hotel management: I gave you multiple opportunities to do the right thing. Every chance to be a reasonable person and provide some sort of discount to make up for our horrible experience. Your team, namely Miguel, chose to prioritize profiteering. Do better.

  Great hotel - the 1* is for the nearby bar

  Actually 6 ******. Excellent hotel and friendly staff. Why 1* here?Just so my review is seen (as most bad ones are) to warn folk staying here to avoid the bar next door on the corner - ISLACANELA. It’s rough and full of ‘alchos’ at midday - and if you look guiri (foreigner) they’ll charge more for a glass of red (and poor stuff) than any of all the great bars in the area. Just a tip. Avoid.

  Just back from a 2 night stay here when watching the Real Madrid v Osasuna match and overall an excellent stay. Easily accessible from Prosperidad metro station. Check in was simple and staff were friendly. Room clean and tidy with comfy beds and a good bathroom and nice shower. Rooms were cleaned and there was a fridge. Breakfast wasn’t brilliant but it was good with plenty of choice and served 7-11am. A midday check out also helpful and it is located within walking distance of the Bernabéu. Would highly recommend if visiting Madrid especially for football (we also went to watch Rayo Vallecano)
