  Bad breakfast and coffee, noise in room, slow elivator and need two different elevators to get to the room, they don’t refill water daily so only once, staff not asking what can be improved. Please be aware that the building is historic, and the tower cannot be directly connected to the rest of the building due to structural limitations inherent in the original architecture. For this reason, access to certain upper floors requires the use of two different elevators. While we understand this may be less convenient for you, these structural conditions cannot be altered without compromising the building's integrity and safety.   Good hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms and nice atmosphere. Note that this place is more on the European end of the spectrum of the hotels. Therefore, some aspects of the room like the size of the couches, bed or luggage holder happens to be smaller, and the air conditioning may not be as strong as you may like or need. Otherwise, an excellent hotel to visit, especially if you need to be near the center of the action in Madrid's Gran Via. Overall, a positive experience.

  Excellent location in the center city close to the theater district, the Madrid Palace, great restaurants, and many tours. The staff and facilities are exceptional and helpful in every way. We could not have had a better experience. It was delightful!!

  Good stay, good location but no water boiler and coffee/tea set in the room

  We stayed at Vincci Capitol Hotel from 7–13 March, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel upgraded us to a room with a view, and from Room 620 on the 6th floor we had a nice view of Gran VíaThe location is excellent, right in the center and in front of metro station Callao. Most major attractions in the city center are within a short walking distance of about 5–15 minutes, which made sightseeing very easy. The Chueca area, main gay neighborhood is just around the corner, which made it very convenient for us. The hotel also felt very welcoming and gay-friendly, which we appreciated.The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very good. The front desk manager was helpful, and the hospitality throughout our stay was great.The downside was that there was no kettle or coffee/tea facilities in the room.We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant, so we cannot comment on the food, but everything else about the stay was very positive.Overall, a good chan hotel with a good location and professional staff. We would for sure stay here again when visiting Madrid.

  The air conditioner wasn't working. It was so bad that I had to change rooms at 2 AM. The staff's solution was to open the window, but we were facing Gran Via. I specifically requested a room facing the other street, only to be moved to a different floor, still facing Gran Via. I came to this hotel to rest and fix jet lag after a 20-hour flight from a different timezone. Maintenance is needed, and the wallpaper and bathroom are in a terrible state.
