Location

    Good basic 3 star hotel. Would have increased to 4 star if it was closer to Madrid City. Situated in an industrial area with no other shopping available nearby.Clean rooms, a little outdated but just fine for a day or two.     Lovely hotel in Madrid a definitely travellers choice

    Very nice , comfortable hotel at a moderate distance from Madrid International airport . Rooms and amenities are excellent. Very courteous, warm , hospitality behaviour of hotel staff / employees . Reception officials are so nice . Lovely overall stay of two nights we enjoyed in full.     Terrible experience. After spending the entire day out in the heat at 10 in the night the air conditioning isn’t working and then to top it off Mr. David at the reception refuses to take calls, then when you come to the reception decides to get rude and basically not have the courtesy of a conversation even. Best to avoid Luis Maseda, Director General at Occidental Castellana Norte, responded to this review We’re very sorry to hear about your experience. This is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we understand how frustrating it must have been to return to your room late at night and find the air conditioning not working. We will review what happened with our team, including the interaction at reception, to ensure situations like this are handled with the attention and courtesy our guests deserve.     You’d expect more from a 4* hotel. The hotel doesn’t have any facilities, no gym, a very small space to sit in the lobby and as a family of 6, we couldn’t sit anywhere together outside our rooms. Everything is very basic. The breakfast was ok but the same varieties every day. We stayed for 12 days so it was a bit boring for us. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for a family. The staff was always polite.

    We stayed overnight in this hotel during our land trip from France to Portugal. The room was nice... the king size bed, the bathroom and the air-conditioning are all excellent...and the smart TV too...The breakfast was great...the venue, food and the service...
